Skip to comments. How Easy it is for Mankind to Accept Evil--> 1930s Pen Pals

What you are about to read is 100% true. Ilse Gerngrofs, Leipzig and Bessie Goldstein were penpals in the mid 1930's. Besse was a Jewess from New Zealand, Ilse a non-Jew growing up during the rise of Nazi Germany. Besse's religion was hidden from Ilse so you can really see the the passage of foolish humanity into the jaws of evil Nazism. Read these letters from Ilse to Besse an realize how easy it is for mankind to fall into the trap of accepting evil and worry about how the world still appeases evil, in the form of Ahmadinijad, Hezballah, Hamas, Abbas and others.
Today I received the following email:
On this Holocaust Remembrance Day, and on the day when Ahmadinejad can stand up in Geneva at a UN conference on racism and be given an international podium to lash out his hate against Israel and America, I feel it is important to send you 4 letters written by a 20 year old German girl to a penpal, my mother, in New Zealand, between the years 1933 and 1936. She did not know that my mother was Jewish, thus we have a rare opportunity to see the reaction of the "ordinary "German to the rise of Hitler. I have coloured these parts in blue, and you can see how the mundane chit chat of a young girl becomes more and more entwined with the overtones of the Nazi doctrines. The change in tone over the years in the German womans letters is telling and chilling as she describes her adoration and support of Hitler.

Yep, another people of peace.
Now why does that sound so familiar?
The power of propaganda and haigiography.
The readers will notice oh so many similarities to a communist regime in those letters
Wow. Thanks for posting this.
Scary stuff. The left has always been so expertly skilled at propaganda and brainwashing... with horrific consequences.
