Is it possible that there are more than one strain of the flu already and that it is mutating rapidly into a sometimes very dangerous illness that is causing death to some... possibly within one day? It’s the flu. 36,000 people will die this year of the flu. If you are looking for it, you will find it.
This is a manufactured crisis by the socialist left to impose more regulations on people. The typical strain of the flu kills 36,000 people in the U.S. very year. The swine flu has killed two.

Now there's the “you gotta be kidding me” news line of the day.
Since January of this year the regular flu has killed over seventeen thousand Americans. The Swine Flu, a very tiny number, and many of those had other health issues.
We all died from the swine flue two weeks ago. In the meantime, Microsoft collected all of our brains and attached them laptops running Windows 7.
I don’t know what is going on but I’m pretty sure that the swine flu has been going around here since March. It is a tough flu and there has been a lot of pneumonia in young people, much more than in a regular flu season but it hasn’t been deadly. My family all had it, most had to have inhalers but everyone recovered just fine.

Exactly right. Thats why I cringe every time I here someone say we could have a repeat of the 1918 flu. And Biden telling people not to take the subway or fly.
There is a HUGE difference between now and the America of 1918. •) As a people in 1918 we were no healthier than than the poor in Mexico city today. • We were packing soldiers tightly into troop ships and rail cars going to and from the Great War in Europe. • Penicillin wasn't discovered until 1928 not to mention other advances in medicine.
It’s being overplayed. This is the trailing end of the flu season playing out. It helps divert the attention of the dullard public from the illegal government seizure of private assets.

One of my relatives came down with the flu last week and damn near died on the second day. May is not flu season. Yup, I think the powers-that-be decided to downplay the flu because of the potential economic damage. Never trust the government or the MSM.
Actually:
1) It's killed 10 now.
2) Unfortunately, it's just getting started.
3) There's not much correlation between victims. Seasonal influenza contributes to the deaths of people who are almost all (around 90%) at the end of their lives already. This influenza is a serious threat to younger people.
Oh, and unfortunately, the spread is exponential.
I’d love to be proven wrong, but unfortunately I think the glee of some at “what a hype this turned out to be” is likely to be fairly short-lived.
