fortunately so far i didn’t get it.. but i afraid too much of sitting and talking to the guy who already has it, i may get it too..

Sometimes one’s patience looks like inability to the other. same thing happened in the case of Pakistan.. The we reach the BEP of tolerance, Pakistan will know what we are..

Coming to the UN, when you don’t care those orgs, then no point of having it and maintaining permanent memberships etc., etc., we value the institutions where everyone is involved, countries like yours don’t

There is no current state in India that is under the “ruling” of (the) Nizam.

And you haven’t yet answered how you think that the Nizam’s rule in some way determined how Andhra Pradesh was formed — isn’t Andhra the land of Telugu speakers? And yes, some Urdu speakers in Hyderabad. How did the Nizam’s kingdom affect this?

you value the UN? Really? The same institution that let Pakistan keep the POK (Pakistan Occupied Kashmir)? The same institution that let the Chinese keep thousands of square km of Indian territory?

East Indians have the highest family income of any ethnic group in the US...

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

That would be the Koreans, not the Hindians. True, there are probably five times as many Hindians as Koreans but the 500,000 or so Koreans earn more per capita than any other group.

A few years back, the median income for an East Indian family was $89K, which was higher than all other ethnic groups at the time, with Koreans close behind. Not surprised if they have pulled ahead, although there is not yet ANY ethnic group that has a median HH income above $100K.

Its fascinating when you look at per capita incomes per ethnic group that a. most of those in the top ten are NOT usually European-descended and b. those in the top 10 tend to be relatively small population-wise (Koreans, East Indians, Persians, Armenians). Genetics and culture aside, all of the ethnic groups that I mentioned are disproportionately represented by the merchant classes in their respective diasporas (contrary to common belief, most of these folks are NOT the "elite" of their nations).

though AP formed on the basis of same language speakers, there was something more between the state formation and independence day.. i was just trying not to deviate from “INDIANS ARE latest GLOBAL HATE TARGETS” post..

The Nizam was very anxious to become independent and it had been Nizam’s ambition to secure Dominion Status for his State. He tried to achieve this ambitious desire with the help of Khasim Razvi of the Ittehadul Muslimeen and its storm troopers, the Razakars.

The Hindus of the Hyderabad State accounted for 93 per cent of its population. They launched the “Join India” movement with the cooperation of a few patriotic Muslims for the integration of the State with the rest of the country. The State Congress leaders, led by Swami Ramanand Tirtha, whole-heartedly supported the movement. The Nizam banned the State Congress. Its leaders are forced to conduct their activities from places like Vijayawada and Bombay. The Communists on their part organized village defense squads to protect people from the attacks of the Nizam Police and Razakars.

The negotiations between the Nizam’s Dominions and the Indian Union proved abortive. The Nizam Government did not agree to the accession to the Indian Union. The activities of the Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen and the Razakars within the Dominions were posing a serious threat to peace and harmony. The growing violence by the Razakars seriously jeopardized law and order.

The Government of India tried to persuade the Nizam to sign the Instrument of accession with India. After tortuous negotiations, the Nizam finally entered into a “Stand Still Agreement” on November 29, 1947, with India for one year to maintain status quo.

This agreement provided the Nizam to gain time to procure military hardware from different parts of the world and smuggle them into Hyderabad. In the meanwhile the Nizam sent a delegation to the United Nations organization to refer the Hyderabad case to the Security Council.

With the growing violence by the Razakars and the Nizam’s attempts to get himself independent, the Government of India decided to curb these tendencies by launching a `Police Action’ against the Nizam. The Indian Army, led by Major-General J.N.Chaudhuri entered the State from five directions and the military action was a brilliant success. On 18th September 1948, Nizam’s forces surrendered to the Indian army and Mir Laik Ali, the Prime Minister of the Nizam, and Khasim Razvi were arrested. On September 23, the Nizam withdrew his complaint in the Security Council. The merger of Hyderabad Dominions into the Indian Union was announced. Major-General J.N.Chaudhuri took over as Military Governor of Hyderabad and stayed in that position till the end of 1949. In January 1950, M.K.Vellodi, a Senior Civil Servant was made the Chief Minister of the State and the Nizam was designated “Raj Pramukh”. After the 1952 General Elections, the first popular ministry headed by B.Rama Krishna Rao took charge of the State.

After the British Raj (1947-48)

When India gained independence in 1947, the British left the choice of independence or unification up to the local rulers of the princely states. The Muslim ruler of Hyderbad Osman Ali Khan, Asaf Jah VII, the last Nizam, and his followers, Razakars, wished to remain independent. The Indian Government carried out the so called “Hyderabad Police Action” against the Nizam. Code-named “Operation Polo” by the Indian military, this action by the Indian armed forces’ ended the rule of the Nizams of Hyderabad and led to the incorporation of the princely state of Hyderabad into the Indian Union.

that is the reason i said, a southern state too had suffered much by muslim leaders, it is not just in the north india.. hope this will be sufficient

The UN rules said that Kashmir is not a part of india and is still debating it. Is that ok by you. Are you ok with Pakistan occupying a large part of Kashmir?

The Nizam's rule had no consequence on the creation of your home state of Andhra Pradesh. Understood? For some reason you made that out to be the case.

Secondly, the south of India has never had as much and as long a period of muslim aggression as the north has faced.

B Rama Krishna Rao took charge of the Princely State of Hyderabad, not of Andhra Pradesh. The Princely States and Provinces continued until the late 50s and 60s when the linguistic states were formed. The rout of the Nizam had no outcome on the creation of the state of Andhra — those were separated by many years.

what are you talking? i said southern state also suffered by muslim leaders.. the present southern state is not necessarily be 100% geographically same with a province under nizam’s rule 60 to 70 years ago.. there will be many adjustments after wards based on many other reasons.. why you are talking about it? anyway, leave the topic of hyderabad and andhra pradesh. let us talk about the current topic. Even yesterday there was an attack on an Indian’s car in Australia.. Let us talk about present. we all understood here that your past knowledge is very vast.

Newbie — the Nizam’s kingdom didn’t encompass all of what is now Andhra Pradesh, nor did it include all Telugu speakers. The presence or demise of that kingdom had no impact on the creation of the linguistic state of Andhra Pradesh. Comprende?

Cronos, you will end up tiring yourself but you cant convince many of my fellow nationals like this gentleman here.

THey are hopelessly deluded by a virulent anti-GOP and anti-american campaign in the national media.. Indian media is abhorrent in that aspect - it simply copies CNN and other “reputed” US media sources.

People like Aniglla are living examples of their success.. these people with their embarrassing and brainless epithets about “US must stop world policing” (which he probably heard in his local news channel from some bearded news anchor who was declared an “expert” or “intellectual” by the media).

People like him are sad because they really love US currency and jobs, but they cant help resist take the fake moral high with their condescending suggestions about what US must do and what it mustnt to protect her citizens...

American conservatives had realized long time ago that its self reliance and self belief that turns a nation into a super power...Not scampering for UN doles and relyin on UN to protect their citizens lives.

American conservatives honestly and sincerely CARE about their citizens lives..

On the other hand, most Indians themselves dont even care that India has now become a spineless soft state, that has chosen a policy of capitulation and appeasement of Islamic terrorism.. instead they eschew nonsensical lectures on morality... just like their “father of the nation” Gandhi’s advice to jews to walk into gas chambers and die rather than take up weapons against Germans.

India’s foreign policy towards Islam would make even O-bambi look like Charles Martel !

On another note, nationalist christians like me, feel partyless and disillusioned by our democratic process... there is a hobson’s choice between the communalist BJP and the islamist appeasing Congress (communists are not even under consideration, of course)..
