It is very sad to hear but the statement "Indians are latest Global 'HATE' Targets" is 100% true.. In Australia, we face racism.. In USA, sort of it too.. In Srilanka, 'Tamils will be looking forward for a day'.. In Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanisthan, Talibans and most of the Pakis have venemous feleings about us. Recent Mumbai attacks is a clear example and apart from that the attack on Parliament, Bombings in the major cities like Hyderabad, etc., etc., China, is never a friend of India.. In the US, I really don't see this happening. Central New Jersey has the highest concentration of Indians in the United States, and the worst that happens is some low-life schlep class white guy b-tches about the "dot-heads" buying up all the property in his neighborhood. Meanwhile, Pat and Vinny's kid's sit around the 7-11 parking lot drinking, while Poojah and Bharat's kids study to go to Harvard and Stamford.
This article is largely correct, but I don't think that East Indian immigrants to the US really have anything to fear, except for the occassional gangbanger robbing the gas station/convenience store.

You seem to forget the current administration and their point spokesman, Jersey Joe Biden. The only problems I see are that these people want to be American Capitalists in the face of a National Socialist Government. Their religion does not seem to include a need to kill anyone not adopting their beliefs. They choose to learn the English language and prefer to work for a living over marching in the streets for a handout. Yep, they have problems here.
Wish I had a link to an article from back in 2004 on the increasing support for Republicans by the Indian community. The “machines” in Jersey got to them early, but there is a major backlash against Corzine. Will be interesting to see how Christie or Lonergan (primary is tomorrow) do in November in the heavily Indian precincts in Middlesex and Mercer Counties.

Read the article, however, and you will see that hatred (and resentment) toward Indians as a "middleman minority" in the mideast and Asia is VERY serious. I had a friend who's older brother was stomped to death by a black mob in Guyana during an anti-Indian riot/pogrom in said country. Same has been true of the Chinese diaspora in SE Asia as well.

Hard-core Hindus are no fans of the RCC, Muslims, Sikhs, Anglicans, or Zoroastarians, as such faiths are seen as "non-indigenous" imports into a historically Hindu society. It doesn't help that Christians in India have historically supported the far-left (just as Jews did in Europe and for similar reasons. The Right in India being comprised entirely of Hindus).
I make no excuses for mob violence that occassionally occurs toward members of non-Hindu faiths in rural India. The Indian government (who currently include Xians in the ruling coalition) has taken steps against this, but until you change the hearts of men, religious intolerance will always be with us.
You must be kidding. I guess you haven't noticed the largest Hindu temple in the world outside of India that they have just recently completed in Ontario, or the HUGE Sikh population on the west coast and hundreds of temples, and the take over of nearly every cab company in every major city in Canada.
People are indifferent to East Indians in Canada, and they much prefer them over Muslim Paki's.
Outside of Toronto and it's burbs, and Montreal, there are much more East Indians across Canada than Muzzies, which are almost non-existent across the western Canadian prairies with the exception of Edmonton. (oil capital, go figure) If you consider Toronto, "Canada" then your statement would be reasonably accurate. The Buffalo/ Ontario corridor has a very high Muslim population.
I love Indians, and they make some good Americans, but the dumb b@$t@rds tend to vote or lean Democrat, despite what you said above being true. You would think, as smart as they are in most other ways, that they would figure that out.
To Islam, Indians are the lowest form of life, the lowest infidel.
As for Asia, much of the disregard for Indians is also concentrated among the Muslim population, most notably the pacific rim Asian countries.
It has a lot to do with the fact that the Christians in India are also members of the lower caste system, a system that keeps lower caste people poor by preventing them from ever holding a decent job, like a teacher, or any government position, a police officer, etc. They are the lowest of the low. It's no wonder they support leftwing parties.
There would have been NO Eurpoean Civilization without the Catholic Church they were the backbone!
