Sarah Palin's Statement on Tiller Murder
Facebook ^ | 6/01/09 | Sarah Palin

Posted on 06/01/2009 8:37:48 AM PDT by rintense

"I feel sorrow for the Tiller family. I respect the sanctity of life and the tragedy that took place today in Kansas clearly violates respect for life. This murder also damages the positive message of life, for the unborn, and for those living. Ask yourself, 'What will those who have not yet decided personally where they stand on this issue take away from today's event in Kansas?'

Regardless of my strong objection to Dr. Tiller's abortion practices, violence is never an answer in advancing the pro-life message."

Aside from the quality of the message, I believe that it came from Sarah herself; not from a teleprompter.

Sarah Rocks!

Are we a nation of laws or not? Do we really want to go down that road. What other laws can then be violated?

obviously, in the case of Tiller,
if you have a governor and the AG in your pocket,

you can violate a lot of laws, and he did.

Obama only cares about the liberal agenda and nothing else.

Sarah is a very sharp pol. Don’t know if she’ll get the larger understanding needed for high office but she does know what she is doing and on politics like this she is on the money.

Not yet decided? Why not? The question is not that difficult.

I would wait until the baby is almost out of the womb, push the forceps away, and run away with the baby to a secret location. Repeat 10,000+ times. The tough part would be sneaking into the ventilation shaft that many times.

Actually, I’d have to disagree with you on this one!

First of all, the murderer is probably a nut. But aside from that, he killed one person in what could be considered a crime of passion (he was angered by Tiller’s actions) while Tiller calmly and coolly killed thousands of completely defenseless people - for money.

Everybody is busy praying for Tiller, which certainly doesn’t hurt, but I’m praying for his killer, who needs prayers now to see that what he has done is wrong - because unlike Tiller, Roederer probably wasn’t a cold-blooded habitual killer.

I gave my answer.

The purpose of the question is simply to demonstrate what unbridled abortion has wrought.

God said we should not murder. St Thomas Acquinas said not to defend innocent human life, including ones own, from evil is a grave evil and sin.

Very difficult situation. I come down as no to murder but also no to standing idly by and wacthing murder. But that's just me.

Seriously, if abortion is

“a hard decision” or “a morally difficult decision”

it is only so because of the destruction of human life.

And if you don’t fall on the side of preserving that life, you’re immoral.

For instance what is our duty if we were in a room with Dr Tiller and a woman 8 months pregnant when Tiller grabs the foreceps?

I would probably reload my empty weapon.

I don’t agree with you. The murderer is guilty but he was - in his own way - defending the babies.

Tiller was murdering for money.

I think motive makes a huge difference.

People stuck in their own heads can’t answer the question. This includes notable philosophers. It’s ultimately a matter of how much you care about people, not so much about pure reason.

Tiller was a psycho-killer. Unborn babies now have a leg up. It’s a shame he was plugged but I’m sure he’ll be happy where he is headed

The murderer is no better than Tiller.

Tiller operated under cover of "law," so he managed to be a lot more efficient in his killing.

If you think man is an evolved animal, it might be a difficult question for you.

Otherwise, it’s not difficult at all.

The purpose of the question is simply to demonstrate what unbridled abortion American imperialism has wrought.

The purpose of the question is simply to demonstrate what unbridled abortion capitalism has wrought.

The same 'rationale' the left uses for its own propaganda.
