More than 20,000 people turned out to see Palin lead a parade through downtown Auburn and sign a proclamation honoring Seward, the 19th-century Secretary of State who negotiated the $7.2 million deal with Russia for Alaska, which is celebrating its 50th year of statehood.

Come on now, be fair.

He had 50 town employees show up in Haddonfield, NJ !!

Of course, I was later told half of them didn't know who was coming but went anyway because it was a nice day and they got to go outside. LOL !

Excellent to see.

Governor Palin must now start to demonstrate the intellectual framework of her agenda and a clear intellectual understanding of the issues that this current President is going to leave the country

If she can intelligently articulate the problems of this country, and the proper solutions, she can be a force. That stupid Katie Couric interview still haunts her, and she still has a bit to do before she can start to regain the middle.

Good to see she firmly has the right.

This shows the media that Palin is a big star and that she can not be ignored. If they actually did cover her fairly theIr heads would explode.

Compare Sarah with Jennifer Granholm. Both were beauty contestants. One is a successful, popular governor of a prosperous state, while the other is an increasingly unpopular governor of a state with a dismal economy and high unemployment. One is ridiculted by the MSM and by democrats and their followers. The other was on the short list for a Supreme Court nomination. hmmm...

Gov. Palin also had crowds of people approach to greet her
on the streets, and places she visited in the Auburn ,
encouraging her to run in 2012.
The photos of this were outstanding.

Will look forward to her event on Long Island and Westchester Sunday.

Of those mentioned in the running for 12 or the hangerons,
as has been said before, they don’t have the draw and enthusiasm from the crowds as Gov. Palin.

I’ve said it before but it needs repeating: we need to get Sarah Palin out to the next big Tea Party event. Period.

I was 16 years old, living in Anchorage, when Alaska was admitted into the Union. What a party it was!

It is still my favorite state, still have friends there, and go up every few years. They all love Sarah up there.

Given the way the MSM portrayed Governor Palin, you may be right.

However, she has demonstrated a clear understanding of the issues. As for an intellectual framework — if that's what most leading politicians have and Palin doesn't; then she's better off without one. For John Kerry, an “intellectual framework” meant endless nuances & flip-flopping. For BHO, it meant vacuous platitudes. As for his agenda; apparently much of it was hidden, until after the election.

If you're actually “doing” the right things; then it doesn't require an “intellectual framework" to justify it. When what you're doing makes no sense; it requires a lot of intellectualizing to attempt to square the circle.
