Should David Letterman be fired for his comments about Governor Palin's daughter? A Daily Poll
What will President of Iran Ahmadinijad do if he gets a nuclear weapon? A Weekly Poll
Most definitely. He’s a disgusting man and a bull***t liar to boot.
Yes, but he bought his own production company so he couldn’t be fired.
Should President of Iran Ahmadinijad, use a nuclear weapon, on David Letterman, for his comments about Governor Palin's 14 year old daughter?
You made me laugh! Ha!
I voted and the “yes” votes were at 93%.
Wow..I didn’t even know that old fossil was still around until this controversy blew up. Sad.
I believe in free speech, and that means having to suffer fools, not just hear what I like. Don Imus says asinine stuff, but let him say what he says and let the people decide. Good heavens, this attitude of “I don’t like what he says, so shut him up” scares me when it comes from any side of the political spectrum! What Letterman said was ugly, but let the viewers decide. I decided to turn off Letterman (and I was a fan) many years ago.
No.
His ratings should slide into the toilet and he should end up in the ranks of unemployed middle class people he looks down on.
Exactly. Well said!
Got a reply from ancestry.com asking them to drop letterman:
Thank you for bringing this important matter to our attention. I can confirm to you that Ancestry.com is not an advertiser or sponsor of the CBS Late Show with David Letterman. It is unclear how the companys name ended up on this list, but it appears to be a mistake. I wanted to respond to you personally to clarify the situation.
Thanks,

Public Relations Director
Ancestry.com
A local CBS station may have run the ad and it got connected to letterman.
Two words:
You Betcha!
Thank you for the links.
What was post #3 that the mod removed? We need you, so just mail it to me thanks.
Hey, donna, are you the one who voted 'No'?
You know, that's an interesting point. I would be curious to see his actually contract. It's not with CBS, it's with his own production company. He's not actually an employee of CBS, he's a sub-contractor at best.
I wonder if CBS could even get rid of him if they wanted to - and, I'm sure they don't want to.
"Give one (or more) to their terrorist proxies to destroy Israel" wasn't an option, but it's the correct answer.
Then they are a sponsor for Letterman. Those ads just don't magically appear. They bought them. And, a Letterman ad would be a different price than an ad run during CSI, or the local news or even during the Ferguson show.
So no, while they may not technically be a Letterman sponsor, as those are reserved for nationally televised commercials, they are definitely buying airtime on the local channel during the Letterman show.
Who?
