MMR Causes Autism – Another Win In US Federal Court

Julia a three year old US citizen has just won substantial compensation in the US Federal Court for autism caused by MMR vaccine – says her mother.

What is different about this case? They kept the “autism” word out of the case. Many parents in other US cases have been advised to do this:-

CBS News has found that since 1988, the vaccine court has awarded money judgments, often in the millions of dollars, to thirteen hundred and twenty two families whose children suffered brain damage from vaccines. In many … cases, the government paid out awards following a judicial finding that vaccine injury lead to the child’s autism spectrum disorder. In each of these cases, the plaintiffs’ attorneys made the same tactical decision made by Bailey Bank’s lawyer, electing to opt out of the highly charged Omnibus Autism Proceedings and argue their autism cases in the regular vaccine court. In many other successful cases, attorneys elected to steer clear of the hot button autism issue altogether and seek recovery instead for the underlying brain damage that caused their client’s autism.”: [Vaccine Court: Autism Debate Continues - Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and David Kirby Huffington Post 24 Feb 2009]

Julia’s Mom emphasises Julia has no formal diagnosis of autism and says:-

after Julia’s last neuro appointment when her dr said she had signs of autism. I didn’t want that “word” in her records until Julia’s case was decided.

Julia’s diagnosis was “Encephalitis (inflammation of her brain) most likely attributed to the MMR-V (measles, mumps, reubella, chicken pox) vaccine she had received nine days previously.

I do not want this to be misunderstood. She was never formally diagnosed. Do I think that there is a link between vaccines and Autism, absolutely. Is Julia Autistic? I’m not sure.“

[See our related story: Japanese Data Show Vaccines Cause Autism]

However, there is good research to show ASD is a condition resulting from an encephalopathy (a degenerative disease of the brain). Encephalopathies are normally caused by an infection (90% of the time), and most often we will expect a viral infection. MMR contains three live viruses. [See also Explaining Vaccines Autism & Mitochondrial Dysfunction/Disorder]

If this is what compensation means for Julia’s Mom think of all the families and children who should never have got sick in the first place and will never get compensation just because they used the “autism” word. Julia’s Mom says she was:

accepting the loss of the world as i knew it before she got sick, before my divorce, before i lost my house.

This is such a huge, huge, huge help for Julia and my family”

Does it help to think your child is “just a little bit” autistic but still injured and in need of financial help with medical care for life? Autism Spectrum Conditions are a spectrum from very mild to incapacitating.

Not only does it not end like this for other families – some children die as this 2005 Federal Court decision in a case very similar to Julia’s shows [and which took 9 years to achieve a decision]:-

Eric Fernandez Cusati v Secretary for Health and Human Services

How many cases are like these ones? Who knows the exact number – the majority of decisions are never published – kept in secret. And then there are all the cases the US Secretary of Health and Human Services settles – also kept in secret. No one publicly knows for sure how many.

Thanks to Julia’s Mom for telling us all about this one case.

And with 1 in 38 British boys with an autistic condition [and the problem is not just autism] the question must be asked – how many children who would otherwise have grown up healthy are going to continue to be sacrificed and claimed to be for the very few but in reality for drug company profits in their move to a new business model based on “vaccines for all”. I do not go blindly into these things. When my youngest son was 5 the chickenpox vaccine had just become available. My pediatrician offered it, but I passed because it was a new vaccine. He had the chickenpox.

I resisted the HepB vaccine for my kids because they did not engage in any of the risk behaviors. I had the vaccine because I was a nurse.

If a woman gets German Measles when she is pregnant, it is too late to treat the problems the baby will have.

My opinion is that the benefits of the vaccines far outweigh the risks. My hunch is that even with “proper care” the number of complications for the vaccines would be greater than the complications from the vaccines. (I know, my hunches are not scientific. Anecdotal at best.)

“I do not go blindly into these things.”

God bless you...neither do I.

“My opinion is that the benefits of the vaccines far outweigh the risks.”

I highly recommend Dr Russell Blaylock’s website to you.

Anyone who wants to consider risks vs. benefits of vaccines should watch Dr. Sherry Tenpenny’s DVD’s.

How can you explain 1 in 50 children in some states being diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders? I know the medical establishment claims better diagnosis, but anyone who has seen seriously autistic children knows that the diagnosis explanation is both ridiculous and unprovable (and where are all the seriously autistic adults whose diagnosis was missed?!!).

Being born in 1939 I remember Polio...Every summer my mother would stop me from certain activities because it was what she termed Polio season...I was glad for the vaccine when I had my kids. They were given the Salk vaccine.

Also DPW and I would recommend that also, as they are protection against killer diseases...MMR I would not have given to my kids if it had been available..My 4 boys and 1 daughter had all 3 diseases...no side effects. Mumps in children do not cause the same problem it does in adult males. But there were certain things one did when a child got any of those 3 diseases.

Too many vaccines for immature immune systems is stupid..The government tried to force infants to get Hepatitis vaccine until the general public raised a fit...another vaccine not needed for infants..

.I do believe that some of these vaccines the gov't pushes is the result of heavy lobbying by the companies involved..

When I took my daughter in for her smallpox vaccination, the doctor noted she had a slight fever and would not give it at that time...Later he said it was not necessary as smallpox was now unheard of in the USA. That was in the late 60's. But it seems I have read someplace that smallpox is making a comeback in the US and possibility due to lax immigration laws...

Not only do unborn children have a right to be born, they have a right to be born free of the very serious complications of rubella.

I noted typos in your post. I think you meant to write: Auti$m $pectrum $yndrome. Ya know, you just have to wonder if there is some benefit to having your kid(s) diagnosed with some kind of $yndrome.

I grew up before the vaccines and I had the measles and mumps. No way would I wish those diseases on any child if it were preventable. Complications were common.

I felt that I was protecting my children by having them vaccinated. They have made the same choice for their own children.

We had great sanitation and nutrition when I was growing up but measles, mumps and rubella was still a problem.

“Not only do unborn children have a right to be born, they have a right to be born free of the very serious complications of rubella.”

But unborn children don’t have the “right” to have their mother injected with the non-double blind tested toxic cocktails known as vaccines, any more than they have “right” to demand that their mother play Russian roulette with a fully loaded revolver.

Unborn children DO have the right to expect their mother to take care of their own bodies (nutrition, exercise & rest etc) and avoid injections of thimerosal, squalene, cocaine, aluminum adjuvant, fetal tissue bits, formaldehyde etc. (not all are ingredients of vaccines).

Yes, vaccines work and they are safe. It’s too bad this hysteria is going to make vaccines that much more expensive for everybody else.

“Yes, vaccines work”

Unfortunately, only for drug companies, vaccine manufacturers, and the medical industrial complex.

“they are safe”

...and yet no doctor has been willing to step forward and accept the challenge to have a body-weight scaled/sized vaccine shot full of thimerosal in exchange for a large sum of cash.

...and yet, if one reads the minutes of the CDC’s Simpsonwood conference (obtained under FOIA), one finds veteran pediatricians privately acknowledging that the thimerosal-autism correlation exists, and that they would never give a thimerosal laden shot to anyone in their family because of the autism risk.

What thimerosal laden shot do they give to other people's children?

“What thimerosal laden shot do they give to other people’s children?”

The CDC acknowledged, in their internal Simpsonwood meeting minutes back around 2001, that there was a strong correlation between thimerosal in vaccines and autism. Some wanted to hide the correlation. Others made the point that the correlation was too strong to be dismissed and that they wouldn’t allow their own grandchildren to be given the shots.

Iatrogenic conditions such as autism are ~100% preventable.

Garbage.
