BEIJING – Chinese state media says that 129 people have been killed and more than 800 hurt in violence in the country's western Xinjiang region.

This is not a Muslim issue. It is occuring in Chinese occupied East Turkestan or Uyghurstan. The ChiComs are pursuing a policy of displacement in its occupied non-Han areas including Tibet, East Turkestan, Manchuria, Inner Mongolia, the Zhuang in Guangxi, etc. (For a full list see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ethnic_groups_in_China ) If this were an issue of religion than the Muslim Hui, who are Chinese, would also be rebelling.
On June 26, hundreds of Han Chinese workers attacked Uyghur workers working at a toy factory in Guandong (south-east China) while they were sleeping at a factory dormitory. 26 Ughurs were reportedly killed. This was supposedly over the allegation from some Han Chinese that Uyghur raped a Chinese woman.
