Here is video from the NAACP Convention this weekend where they issued a warning to Republican Sen. Jeff Sessions that he should "tone down his rhetoric" about Supreme Court Nominee Sonia Sotomayor, whose confirmation hearings begin today. Sessions is a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, and will have opportunity to question Sotomayor.
The NAACP essentially told Sessions "we are watching you," and are seeking to cow him into silence. It won't work. Jeff Sessions is a man of tremendous character and integrity. He won't be intimidated by the radical NAACP, an organization with a proud history, but one that has now veered to the far left. They essentially accuse Sessions of racism in the statement, even calling up the name of Jefferson Davis, implying Sessions is following in his footsteps.
Sen. Sessions and all the Republican senators have a responsibility to question Sotomayor fairly but directly about her many statements that smack of reverse racism. I feel certain Sessions will be true to that responsibility, no matter the intimidation brought against him by far left groups like the NAACP. . . . . (Watch Video)

Tone down the truth? Tell it like it is, Senator Sessions!
That race card is sure getting worn and frayed.
The NAACP essentially told Sessions “we are watching you,”
Meanwhile the NAACP ignores:
1) High rates of black on black violence
2) High rates of black high school drop outs
3) High rates of black unmarried teen pregnancies
4) High rates of black teen drug abuse
5) Gangsta rap degrading young black females
Is she *colored*?
Looks kinda pasty white to me.
Agree I bet it’s held together with duct tape.
I’d give anything if Sen. Sessions would tell this racist, commie outfit where to go.
Watch.
maybe a group needs to form the National Association for the Advancement of WHITE people and see how this goes over. Ha. Or maybe a group for the National Association for the Advancement of LEGAL citizens of America...we could ALL join! That’s the whole point of the Sotomayor case. She wants to hyphenate us all and do some Balkinazation of America.
I wouldn't rate him as the best member of that body, but only because there are four others who are almost as good-- the pair from Oklahoma, Jim DeMint of South Carolina and Jim Bunning of Kentucky.
That sounds like a threat.
Naacp, just another racist (blood chongo) domestic terrorist group. They should be at the top of the Public Enamy list of the Feds. Oh wait!! it would offend the race hustlers of Pimp My Race and Victim status.
Molon Labe,
It seems that we are all supposed to just shut up. Even if we did, the race card would be used by planting false racism allegations.
I really don’t know if our side is up to the task of fighting these people. They play really dirty and there are few left to point it out. These are not normal times and our normal lack of aggressiveness is going to be the downfall.
As for Sonia Sotomayor, this is a done deal and it is a shame that so much time will be spent on it. The race card has already been thrown on the table.
IIRC, it was done back in the 70's. It was depicted as a fringe radical racist group (and probably was).
Either that are we will continue to be marginalized. Our country hangs in the balance and too many white people are asleep or completely kowtowed and cowards. In spite of all the lofty rhetoric about "color doesn't matter" & "MLK was a Republican" etc some of the most powerful political & lobbying groups in the country today are LaRaza, NACCP, the Black Caucus, the Hispanic Caucus etc. I wonder if they will get stronger with the current immigration system we have?
If we don't stand up for ourselves who will?
BTTT
