Country-Clubber Ron Paul Says Moose Hunter Sarah Palin Is Country-Club Republican

Nuts. Ron Paul says moose hunter Sarah Palin is a typical country-club Republican.

In a recent interview with Politico Ron Paul bashed Sarah Palin for being a "conventional, country-club type of Republican":

As for soon-to-be departing Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, Paul dismisses her supporters as "more establishment, conventional Country-Club type of Republicans."

"I wonder whether she's energizing the 15-20 year olds," Paul muses. "That would be a question I would have. Because she doesn't talk about the Federal Reserve and some of these issues. She doesn't talk too much about personal liberties, civil liberties, getting rid of drug laws, attacking the war on drugs, punishing people who torture."

punishing people who torture

The torturers are the Taliban, Al Qaeda, and all the various terrorist subgroups.

So, yes, we are going after the torturers.

he’s laughable! country-club repub! LOL She’s so far OUT of the main stream, the beltway, and they know it - otherwise she would be ‘one of them’ - the good ole boys club.

Does a 73 year old nasal whiner energize 15-20 year olds?

Ron Paul, lifetime member of the Lake Jackson, TX Country Club, says Sarah Palin is a country club Republican.

You're a hoot, Ron.

Because she is not a wacked out rules-based libertarian.

Finally: Ron Paul kinda sorta comes out as a Truther

Via LGF, which has a transcript. America’s Greatest Patriot has been playing footsie with 9/11 cranks for years, doing interviews with paranoiacs like Alex Jones, stating his support for a new investigation into the attacks, and floating related theories of his own about a war-crazed government willing to attack its own people to further the neocon agenda.

Ron Paul, in the space of two sentences, can take me from going “Oh Yeah!” to a face palm. He’s like a crazy uncle that tells great stories.

Ah! The Twilight Zone - exactly! Is there something in the water in DC that blinds people to truth? They open their mouth and out comes something they should be embarrassed for - it’s so far from the truth. Those that harbor hatred (for goodness) are truly being exposed.

Ya know, I used to give Ron Paul a lot of credit for his knowledge of government. So what if he was a bit off in a lot of ways. But now he insults Sarah Palin and her supporters(me). At least we know where he stands. Another one bites the dust.

Probably Paul, because these are way down on the list of people's concerns as this corrupt administration is on the verge of destroying private healthcare and restricting people's energy usage?

Unbelievable that Paul is allowing himself to be played like a fiddle by Politico to split conservatives.

I hope Sara ignores this eccentric statement and supports the proposal to auditing the Fed. Perhaps Dr. Paul will recognize his error and seek to make amends.
