Here is a question I have not yet seen asked.
If you have a valid LONG FORM birth certificate, then why would you even bother to obtain the 'COLB" (certificate of live birth) that can be given to NON-CITIZENS
Think of the time period. There are no computers back in that time. No good records and they are all manual.
If you come from Africa and you now live in hawaii and you want to go to school or whatever- you need ID.
If you dont have a birth certificate from Africa you apply for a COLB from Hawaii so you can go to school and start kindegarten, etc etc.
A COLB can be obtained by NON-CITIZENS for this purpose.
Why obtain one if you have the regular long form? It's not like its cheaper or something.
and so on with this guys life.
No school records, no college transcripts, no thesis, passport, etc etc...
Would a Republican be allowed to get away with that (but lets stick to the COLB question and not get distracted byt the stunning hypocracy of liberals)

My city flooded.......the hospital, the city hall and my home even floated away. I have NO access to a long form anything. I am lucky to get a legitimate birth certificate of any kind.

There is a MASSIVE COORDINATED PUSH today by the State run media (probably led by the Obama administration's and DNC's talking points) to try and reframe the entire argument regarding the legitimacy of Obama to serve because he is not an American citizen (Absolutely no proof that he is one; no legitimate birth certificate and the fact that Obama has spent OVER A MILLION DOLLARS in legal fees to an army of lawyers all fighting the release of a $10 birth certificate.).
Obama's new ploy is to reframe the entire argument and to denigrate all of those seeking simple proof that he is legitimately qualified under the guidelines of the U.S. Constitution to serve as president of the United States and Commander and Chief by calling everyone seeking the truth: RACISTS.
Sorry DNC and Obamessiah, you and your State run media can scream "RACISTS" all you want but it isn't going to wash HIS TIME, the Constitution says you MUST be a natural born citizen in order to hold this office, it has NOTHING TO DO WITH RACE and EVERYTHING TO DO WITH UPHOLDING THE RULE OF LAW AND THE COSTITUTION.
That's not true. If you were born in HI and want to get a copy of your birth certificate, the form known as a "Certification of Live Birth" is what you get by default. To save money, HI (and several other states) went to the computerized record-keeping system. And, the implementation of that system is what results in the computer generated form that we are all now too familiar.
A person can get a certified photo-copy of their original birth certificate, but it is more expensive and takes a longer period of time to obtain.
One of our daughters was born in HI and she had misplaced her BC. She got a copy and it looks like the one that purports to be Obama's.
Well, I guess that prior to 1980, or whenever, if you went to get your birth certificate, it would have been a certified copy of the original as made in the hospital.

If Obama was born in a hospital in Hawaii, the state would still have this, if only on microfilm.
Just a few years ago, I had my daughter go to the health department in Memphis to get a copy of my birth certificate
in order to apply for social security.
It was an exact copy of my original, as typed and signed in
the hospital, but it was superimposed onto an official
8 x 10 state form.
The original was very much like the one from Hawaii that

That is what the state of HI issues, unless you specifically request the long form BC. Which Obama refuses to do.
My question is, if Obama has a long form US birth certificate is he now okay? I, too, am horrified at the damage the Tyrant is doing to my country but this birther thing plays into the hands of the dems and the liberal cause. There are sounder and more principled ways to, in his own words, make this a one-term proposition. The American people are objecting strongly to his policies and that is what will thwart his post-American agenda, not whether he has a ‘magical’, long form birth certificate.
Your birth certificate should be on file at the state capital.
On the other, the AC doesn’t need a birth certificate. He has been given dominion over the world.
Only in America, in order to participate, can Little League sports demand higher standards of authenticity than running for President.

It should be at the health department for the county of your birth.
At least that is the way it is in Tennessee.
My cousin has a U.S. passport but no U.S. birth certificate. He was born in Germany in 1946 when my uncle was a Col with the army of occupation. He is a "statutory citizen," because both parents were U.S. citizens, but not a “natural born citizen” because he wasn’t born on U.S. soil.
I assume the county was flooded and there’s no paper left.
Obviously, Obama never aprticipated in Little League. That was demonstrated to all by his lousy pitch at the All Star Game. /sarc
