Here is video of CNN's Don Lemon reading a letter by Sgt. Leon Lashley, an African-American police officer who was present at the scene along with Sgt. James Crowley the night Harvard Professor Henry Louis Gates was arrested. Lashley has backed Sgt. James Crowley 100% in the controversy.
Lashley reportedly wanted Crowley to share the contents of the letter with President Obama and Professor Gates, but there is no indication whether or not the message was actually shared.
Lashley says in the letter that he has been branded an "Uncle Tom" as a result of the controversy, and his standing by Sgt. Crowley. He asks in the letter for Professor Gates to seriously "reflect" on his actions and what he could have done differently. . . . . (Watch Video)

Racists and bigots stand by their views and never let the facts or truth get in their way.
Gates, and his ilk dine out on their perceived insults. It’s a way of life and an undeniable fact that they will never admit they have been wrong rather than wronged.
This thing with Dear Leader and Gates is just the tip of the iceberg. We ain't seen anything yet.
Lashley says in the letter that he has been branded an "Uncle Tom" as a result of the controversy, and his standing by Sgt. Crowley.
Now there's a 'Teaching Moment' for you Barry. It seems your Homeys are the Racists bro.
So when are you going to call them out on that?
((((( crickets )))))
Barry and his people like Holder & Janet Nappy has set BACK race relations forty plus years. It's like the 60's, everyone's on edge - a powder keg ready to blow, just waiting for one little spark.
And it suuuuure seems like he's doing his damnedest to light the fuse!
The seargent is misguided if he believes that Gates’ wants racial harmony. Sad statement, but it’s true. By his actions throughout his life it proves he doesn’t want racial harmony, he is a hate mongerer.
God bless the seargent, he doesn’t deserve what he is sufferring. He did the right thing.
The Black police officer should have been invited to the beer party. Ah, but that would have made it harder for the media to cast this as a Black vs White thing.
