Does he have a brother that lives in San Francisco to run against the Princess?

"A RINO would be WORSE than Reid."

Say what??? I could see how a dem might be inclined to feel that way, but a conservative? Uh-huh, baby!

Nope, anybody would be better than Reid but I'd be thrilled with the most rightward candidate who has a chance of winning NV in the GE & unseating that slimesucking scumbucket.

The blow to the D party morale to see their Obama-lackeying Senate Majority Leader unceremoniously dumped for an R - any R at all - would be absolutely priceless and a major boost to conservatives, even if the only candidate who can manage to cobble together enough votes in Nevada to swipe that seat turns out to be a RINO.

If Reid were to get kicked out by his state, those cocky smiles on every other DEM face in DC would disappear overnight.

And that my FRiend, would be worth a RINO's weight in gold to the conservative agenda everywhere else.

A co-worker just told me that her Aunt knew Harry Reid as a kid. Harry's knickname was "Pinky".

Fitting, as eventually he became a pinko.

I remember Danny Tarkanian when he was one of the ball boys at Long Beach State (1970-2). Jerry was the coach and even after 30 years 49er fans keep talking about him as though he left for UNLV yesterday.

Danny was mentioned for a Long Beach State coaching position several years ago but probably was a longshot at best.

Yes, that Tark.

Don’t get too excited he lost a State Sen. seat in 2004 and the Nev. Sec. of Seat in 2006. Seems to be extremely pro-business, favors voter ID cards.

He did win a libel suit against his 2004 Dem. opponent for a 150K.

Way to go being involved like this!

I have to go to a work related Kay Hutchinson event next week. I am curious to hear what she’s talking about and what kind of crowd she is attracting. Since a conservative doctor in town is sponsoring the event, I take it she’s not into socialized medicine.

Back from a beer bash. It appears Sue Lowden will be the one. Y’all heard it here first.

How filthy will the primary race be, and more important, how expensive?
Is there any possibility that Reid and the rats are behind a triangulation strategy to get two (or more?) Republicans to shred each other in a primary battle?

[How filthy will the primary race be, and more important, how expensive?]

Sue Lowden will have money, Danny less so. I think both are fairly decent people, so I don’t expect this to get nasty, though Danny will put up a fight.

[Is there any possibility that Reid and the rats are behind a triangulation strategy to get two (or more?) Republicans to shred each other in a primary battle?]

My guess is that Republican power people will coalesce around Lowden as the one who can win. I’ve been involved with the way things work here and in the past I’ve witnessed how the thug Dems will manipulate the Repubs. This year, they are using influential Sig Rogich to do the dirty work with his ‘Republicans for Reid’ group. They are pressuring a friend to go over on their dark side.

But I don’t think Republicans will buy into the Reid propaganda, so the Rogich impact won’t be overwhelming. I’m working on ways to counter that now.

Thanks for your reply. Good luck.
I suspect, as is true across the nation, “Democrats for Lowden” wouldn’t work because it would make her look bad. It is the Democrat party that must lie about its intentions, ie., that they are not really liberal scumbags, and therefore must pretend that they attract Republicans.

Tarkanian ran for Secretary of State in 2006, losing to Dennis Ross by a 49% to 41% margin. He ran for the state Senate in 2004, losing in incumbent Democrat Mike Schneider by a 54% to 46% margin. He sued Schneider for libel after that race, and Schneider settled out of court for about $150K.

Reid should be toast. He hasn’t been good for business in Vegas and the boys won’t be happy.

Please join the “You’re Fired” Campaign putting politicians in office on notice. The American people have been betrayed. Arrogant Elitist Politicians care about nothing but personal power. Please read the details of this campaign and forward this to your email address book. Print it out and hand it to your neighbors and friends. Our country and our freedom are at stake as well as your children and grandchildren’s futures. If you do nothing else, forward this to everyone and forward it to your elected Elitist. Time to clean out the Congress and start over with patriotic Americans with integrity that love this country more than their own personal power.

No one would be worse than Reid, if you lived in the water starved southwest you would do cartwheels to get rid of this crook.
