Justice Dept. STONEWALLS Investigation of Black Panther Intimidation Case Dismissal

A particularly heinous election day event happened in Philadelphia where members of the New Black Panther Party in black berets, black combat boots, black shirts and black jackets intimidated Caucasian voters with racial insults, slurs and a nightstick. Another party member was accused of managing, directing and endorsing their behavior. The entire event was captured on videotape.

In January, the Justice Dept filed a civil complaint against the New Black Panther Party. When the court date arrived In April, a federal judge had ordered default judgments against the Panthers after they refused to respond to the charges or appear in court, basically a guaranteed win.

The Justice Department was in the final stages of seeking sanctions when a delay in the proceedings was ordered by Loretta King, who was serving as a political appointee as the acting assistant attorney general.

That ruling was issued after she met with Associate Attorney General Thomas J. Perrelli, the department's No. 3 political appointee, who approved the decision to dismiss the complaint, according to interviews with department officials who sought anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly about the case. The Obama Justice Department sent a clear message to groups willing to resort to intimidation for the purpose of hijacking elections. They are free to harass Americans on their way to the voting booth as long as they are supporting the right candidate.

According to the Washington Times, the US Commission on Civil Rights, a federal agency, has been investigating the Justice Department....trying to get to the bottom of why the charges were dropped. But the Attorney General of the "most transparent administration in history" is not cooperating.

Well, there’s the answer I’ve been looking for...

Instead of showing up at these town halls with signs & chants, we need to dress in para-military fatigues carrying nunchucks & refuse to let anyone in who disagrees with us.

Obviously, it’s not a problem with the Obama Justice Dept.

Are these upstanding neighborhood 'poll watchers' dressed better than anti DeathCare grass-rooters?

What I find particularly heinous is that, while the two independent and four Republican members of the Commission approved the letter, according to the story,

"Democrats Arlan D. Melendez and Michael Yaki abstained."

Are these two poltroons not Americans, responsible for enforcing American law equally and fairly? Our nation is truly in trouble when loyalty to Der Party trumps loyalty to our citizens and the institutions erected to protect us all without fear or favor.

Stonewalling, you say? Huh, whodathunkit? The most transparent administration in history, after all, would never stonewall something this serious, would they?

And, now you tell us that the anointed one has loosed the hounds on the townhall attendees who dare to challenge his healthcare reform pogrom?

I’m shocked. (/sarc off)

People in Philadelphia have the right to vote, free of intimidation. Holder and his so-called “Justice Department” are sell-outs.

This is an outrage!! They have the nerve to call grannies “angry mobsters” and “extremists”, but they let jack-booted, billy-club toting thugs interfere with our election process. Shades of what is to come.
