In an attempt to fight back against average citizens who express their views toward the government takeover of healthcare, Barack Obama and Congressional Democrats have launched a counter-offensive aimed at discrediting the citizens and seizing the upper hand on the healthcare debate.
Obama told Democratic Senators just prior to their departure on Friday for the August recess that the Administration 'has their backs' and that if they are attacked for their views on socialized medicine they should attack back doubly hard.
We have already seen at least some of what this strategy entails.

This issue gets people to look at themselves in the mirror and ask themselves which side they’re really on.
Even Ghandi said that when the violence increases, victory is at hand. Christ taught that by His life. This issue is, after all, one of life and death; that someone would not see that the death in question might be his is not a concept that can be ignored, dismissed or assuaged.

I believe you are a God fearing person and you mean well. However, gentle isn't going to cut it. We need to fight back with all the force we have at our disposal. If they beat seniors, we beat them back. It they step it up from there, we raise it another notch. They are not going to back down with a "gentle" reminder. They have already received many gentle reminders, it is time for some less than gentle tactics.

LOL. I think you missed the sarcasm in my use of the word “gentle” - Probably should have used parenthesis.
We are in agreement.
Truth and a backbone to support it are what’s needed.
As God withdraws his hand of restraint upon people who keep begging him to step away, the violence, depravity and evil get more and more on display. Its what we are without God.
With The holy spirit indwelling us, we can overcome our sin nature.
Without it, you have what we are seeing now as our world gets worse and worse and man keeps trying to “fix it”
At a certain point ( which I think is coming soon) , there will be an obvious “ All the people that are evil now arent changing. They want that. All the people that are going to be good are at this point.”
Thats when its going to be a great day to be a believer and a bad, bad day to be something else.
Jesus came to seek and to save that which was lost, and wants us onboard. However, there will be those whose souls are seared and whose hearts are hardened.
Anyone with scales on their eyes, get rid of them.
Anyone with ears hear, anyone with eyes see.
