BlackLight Power?

I knew all of those Elvis paintings would pay off someday.

“For the first time, BLP confirms direct spectral observation of transitions of hydrogen to form hydrinos. These experiments showing hydrogen spectral emissions below 80 nanometers, the previously known ground state, are decisive evidence of the existence of hydrinos theoretically predicted by Dr. Randell Mills.” Describing the significance of the breakthrough, Dr. Mills said, “This is smoking-gun evidence of the existence of hydrinos, the light signature observed is from pure hydrogen and at much higher energy than deemed possible for this element in any known form.”

Uh, unless I’m missing something, E=hv would indicate a lower ground frequency = lower energy.

I’m going go out on a limb here and guess that they’re currently in the “looking for su.... er, investors” stage.

Uh, unless I’m missing something, E=hv would indicate a lower ground frequency = lower energy.

The photon energy is the transition energy between levels E2 and E1 (E2 and E1 are the two stationary leveles for transition E2 -> E1). The E1 needs to be smaller than E2 and the photon frequency is given via v12=(E2-E1)/h. This frequency can in principle be higher (i.e. the wavelength shorter) than the transition frequencies for the transition between known levels. In other words, the new ground state (if it exists) energy E1 is smaller than old ground state E2, but the difference E2-E1 may well be larger than E3-E2 (for the old transition to ground state).

I wouldn't still invest until more labs confirm it. Odds are still against their theory being right and the existence of the phenomenon. In principle, it is not inconceivable that such lower ground states do exist. Quantum Field Theory, although successfull as far as some computed effects go, is on mathematically flimsy grounds (the series expansions diverge) and it is not certain that computations being done presently (based on asymptotic expansions with ad hoc subtractions of infinities) exhaust all the solutions of some future more solid theory (such as potentially Asim Barut's Self Field Electrodynamics, among others, which agrees with QED only within experimentally tested bounds).

“The energy released forming a hydrino is over 200 times the energy required to extract hydrogen from water by electrolysis to produce the new hydrogen fuel consumed during the BlackLight Process”

Sounds like a perpetual motion machine.

"below 80 nanometers," means lower wavelength. Lower wavelength means higher frequency and proportionately higher energy.

I’ve been moping about today wondering why Michael Jackson couldn’t have waited just a few more weeks before shuffling off this mortal coil and hoping for a major distraction involving something truly newsworthy like the death of a famous celebrity or the crash of a craft transporting someone already approaching the ‘gates’ or anything just to get all this clamor about deathcare off the front pages and the teasers for news at eleven; this ain’t it unless some smart ad-agency type can dub it Zombie-power or something really catchy like that and get the texter tweeter twittering twits all excited and do an accidental DOS on all major networks akin to a northern-lights-from-hell stunt.

I think I’ll just drink the rest of my beer to wash down my chocolate-chip cookie and go to bed where I can be harangued all night by the droning voices entreating me to remember Uncle George or Alex Trebeck’s common-sense advice to buy life insurance before my old lady has to die in the poorhouse which was closed down decades ago for a lack of funds.

Sounds like a scam. You can’t have some kind of process that just keeps producing energy over and over again with the same original inputs.

I can see where you might think that, Nateman, but you’re looking at it the wrong way. As I see it, the Blacklight has simply releases found a more efficient way to release a larger amount of the tremendous energy naturally stored in the hydrogen atom and then uses a fraction of that energy to disassociate more hydrogen from water to produce more energy from those atoms and so on. No energy is being put back into the same hydrogen atoms to restore them back to their original ground state once the energy is released. That’s a misconception I also had originally. Once the lower energy hydrogen is produced, being highly reactive, it either combines with itself to form a gas molecules, or combines with other elements to form hydride compounds. If you look at it that way, it’s no more “free energy” than when you burn gasoline in your engine and convert that fuel into lower energy byproducts. When you look at it that way, it makes more sense, at least to me anyway.
