Here is video of South Korean Golfer YE Yang winning the 2009 PGA Championship, becoming the first Asian to ever win a Major Golf Championship.

Yang did it in dramatic style. He overcame Tiger Woods, becoming the first player to ever defeat Tiger Woods in a Major Championship when Woods led after 54 holes. Woods had been a perfect 11-0 in Majors when he had the lead going into the final round.

Yang hit two incredible shots down the stretch to vault over Woods and take the crown. He chipped in for eagle at the par-5 14th hole, which put him in the lead over Woods. Then, with a one shot lead on the 18th, his second shot had to clear a tree and land on the green. He used a 3-hybrid, hit it over the tree with the ball landing on the green and stopping only about 8 feet from the hole. He then calmly sank the birdie putt, while Tiger Woods closed out with a bogey. It was a three shot win for Yang who finished at -8. . . . (Watch Video)

I think you are right. I am sick of Woods and that foul mouthed caddy Steve Williams too.

Like I said in the other thread I think Woods ran out of gas after being the leader in 3 consecutive tournaments. It takes a lot out of you. Congratulations to Yang for a well played tournament.

He chipped in for eagle at the par-5 14th hole, which put him in the lead over Woods.

14 is actually a short par 4, but he still made an incredible chip for eagle. His second shot on 18 may have been even better. He made the shots that Tiger normally makes.

Yang tied for low score of the day with a 70. It's rare to see pros in any tournament not break 70.

I’m sick of that pouty arrogant Woods!!

Here is what Woods had to say about Yang today:

"He's always been a wonderful ballstriker," Woods said. "The only thing that held him back was the flat stick. Today, he executed his game plan, drove it beautifully and hit his irons in the correct spots. He played beautifully."

Yeah, he is such a jerk.

Bobby Fischer was one of the biggest jerks to ever live but that didn't stop him from being among the best chessplayers to ever stare at the board.
Whether or not Woods is in need of a character overhaul the guy is one of the best, if not the best, to ever step on a green.

I don't remember Bobby Fischer ever being magnanimous about another player.

In the past couple of weeks Woods has praised the play of both Yang and Harrington and even went so far as risk censure by criticizing an official for putting pressure on Harrington.

Not exactly the actions of a “pouty, arrogant” player in my opinion.

Woods doesn’t impress me as being a disagreeable fellow. My point was even if it were true it wouldn’t prevent him from being the greatest golfer of them all
