NY TIMES/THE LID ^ | 8/18 | The Lid

To Hell With the Republicans, To Hell with the American People, and Especially to Hell with Granny, the Democratic party wants government to take over Health Care and they are going to shove it down the collective throats of the American people.

According to a report just posted at the NY Times, the Democratic party have decided to go it alone:

....Democrats now say they see little chance of the minority’s cooperation in approving any overhaul, and are increasingly focused on drawing support for a final plan from within their own ranks.

The worst parts don’t start for a few years. They are hoping that the people forget before then, just like they forgot that 911 ever happened.

Gotta give Obama a victory. They learned that HillaryCare is part of Bill Clinton’s legacy and a huge loss.

None of this is good, even though we are going to beat them over the head during the next election.

Are the so-called Blue Dogs are solidly with the rest of the ‘Rats on this?

The news being pushed now is that the Dims will simply pass this on their own? I hear a keyboard in Wasilla signing onto Facebook! The ‘Cuda usually waits for a stand to be made before she issues a response. Sounds like a stand has been made. Listen for the sweet sound of liberal heads exploding within the next 48 hours.

Exactly as a Dictator would do.....ignore the people, force the “Parlament” to vote yes.

Too bad about the Constitution, the Representatives that have to face the Angry electorate....this is a Suicide mission. Obama might get lonely waiting for the Bill to arrive on his desk.

I’m headed to DC on 9/12.....anybody wanna join the Angry Mob in transit ?

This is a bit off-topic, but here goes ...

Tonite, I was watching NBC Nightly (forgive me - I do not have cable) ...

Anyway, this piece of sh*t Chuck Todd was saying that a bunch of stuff that people were protesting about at the town hall meetings WAS NOT in the healthcare bill.

I went back and read an e-mail from a friend who highlighted specific entries on specific pages in the bill.

When I went to the bill, I COULD NOT find some of the entries ...

I went to:

http://waysandmeans.house.gov/media/pdf/111/AAHCA09001xml.pdf

Question:

Are the DEMS modifying the bill as we speak so that pieces of sh*t like Chuck Todd can claim they aren’t in the bill ???

That way, protestors come off at best like lunatics and at worst like liars when more uninformed people go to take a look at the bill for the first time ???

Freepers SHOULD post whenever they see that the web page has been modified - with comparisons of what USED to be in the bill vs. what is in there now ...

I know there is a way to verify when a web page has been altered - but cannot remember how to do it ...

Thx

Some dem leaders may be telling the NYTimes that they will go it alone. However, there is so much fracturing going on within the Democratic party, I don’t they can get enough Dem votes.

I think this is just public posturing to try and put on a strong face.

This health care plan is dead in just about any form. My only concern is the republicans compromise at the last moment for some watered down version of something.

No, we’re not. It takes 60 votes in the Senate to pass anything, and Chairman Dorgan isn’t on board. The Democrats are now actually seeking discord among their own ranks, so the Blue Dogs can run as “Republicans without the corruption” and the liberals can keep the burning Marxist core stoked. They’ve lost, they know it; now they are just preparing for electoral winter.

The Right is busy piecing together how might the Republicans dissemble anything the Left does, if they manage to get a slight majority in the House and President Obama. But the Left is increasingly worried about the unthinkable: There are ONE HUNDRED red or reddish-purple house seats with Democrats in them. And they’re coming to the realization that Obama won’t have the economy to be the wind at his back that President Clinton had.

Texas and maybe Louisiana secede and the marxists issue orders to bring them back.

The US Military instead rounds up the socialists and puts them on a plane to Cuba.

Provisional military government for 6 months, then new elections for all congressional seats and the WH, incumbents need not apply.

Only tax paying citizens and veterans are enfranchised.

All amendments other than the original bill of rights are repealed.

"Dueling" legalized.

Problem solved.

GOOOH.com Get Out of Our House: A non-partisan plan to replace the politicians

GOOOH.COM - Mission

GOOOH stands for ‘Get Out of Our House’ and is pronounced like the word ‘go’. It is a NON-PARTISAN plan to evict the 435 career politicians in the U.S. House of Representatives and replace them with everyday Americans just like you.

If you are tired of career politicians, GOOOH is for you. If you believe money has corrupted Washington, GOOOH is for you. If you believe politicians have too much power, GOOOH is for you. If you are weary of the death grip the two parties have on our government, and are ready to return control of our government to the people, then GOOOH is for you.

GOOOH is NOT just another political party. It is a system that will allow you and your neighbors to choose, among yourselves, the person who can best represent your district.

GOOOH is an evolving system and your input is requested. The questions are changing based on the feedback of members just like you. Participate in the forums, take the survey, and send us your thoughts. This is YOUR system. We will perfect it with your input.

GOOOH is a new system that will allow “we the people” to select true representatives, not choose between a Democrat and a Republican. If we continue to elect career politicians who represent their party, the special interests that fund them, and themselves, nothing will change. GOOOH is a non-partisan process that will allow us to effect the change we all know we need.

GOOOH will allow you to:

1.Help select your Representative - while being considered yourself
2.Hold your Representative accountable
3.Replace career politicians - with true representatives
4.Take the money out of the process
The GOOOH process allows Americans of every political leaning to participate in the selection of their District’s Representative while being considered themselves. Through GOOOH’s Candidate Selection Sessions you and your peers will select the candidate in your district who best represents your district’s views. Even if you do not wish to become your district’s representative you will want to participate in the process and have a direct say in who is chosen to represent your district. GOOOH will fund a single national campaign to promote the 435 candidates (one from each district) who are selected to run against the party politicians. Because GOOOH is a process for selecting representatives (not an agenda-based party platform) we expect a person left of center to be selected in San Francisco and one right of center in Colorado Springs — but it will be up to the GOOOH members in each district to decide.

For GOOOH to succeed we will need at least 500,000 participants. We will continue to build our base of supporters until we have the participation we need, at which time we will begin our effort to have the GOOOH party added to the ballot in the 50 states and to select our 435 nominees. There are many variables involved in reaching this level of support, but we believe it is only a matter of time.

Originally, the founder of GOOOH proposed excluding lawyers, members of political families, and individuals with more than $11.5 million in assets (250 times the median income). They were not to be excluded because they are bad people, but because they are overly represented in government today and, generally speaking, no longer seem to represent the common man. However, based on input from our members, the Question Committee has voted to remove the exclusion of laywers and the wealthy. Instead, it has been decided that members of these two groups must simply declare that they are a lawyer or have more than $11.5m in assets in each Selection Session in which they participate. It will be up to the participants in each pool to decide whether or not that is of concern. We believe this change is indicative of the continuing evolution of the GOOOH system.

We hope you will join GOOOH today and help us take our House back from the politicians!

Term limits.

Only campaign money from the district a congressman LIVES in and RUNS from are accepted and senator's can ONLY accept campaign money from individuals in their State.

Corporations are not allowed to contribute nor are businesses of any shape.

Only people. Only people. ONLY PEOPLE.
