The Unorganized Resistance!
Tyranny Sentinel ^ | August 19, 2009 | GeronL

Posted on 08/18/2009 10:27:52 PM PDT by GeronL

Leftwing organizations have millions of members and they can afford to hire thousands and thousands of paid activists to bus to their events and protests. Some of the leftist political organizations will be recieving your tax dollars thanks to the Stimulus bill.

Even if they are in the minor they have the power to scare advertisers away from the few conservative TV programs. Companies like Geico, State Farm, Progressive, Wal-Mart and Sargiento's cheeses have stopped advertising on the Glenn Beck program due to pressure from the left.

It is time for these companies to feel a little pressure from groups on the right. Call these companies and write them letters as well as emails and tell them why you are protesting their actions. Get a sign and protest in front of your local Wal-Mart or Best Buy or Progressive Office. Its time to hit them back where it hurts.

Tell your friends and family to change their car insurance and to change their buying habits to help out. Promise them a backyard BBQ for an hour picketing the local State Farm office. We must try to counter the far left who are doing their very best to destroy this country.

So how do the conservatives even hope to compete?

Can you organize your family, freinds, neighbors? Can you cause a scene to get attention for your cause? Then you can launch your own local organization. Its not going to be done by someone else, its has to be done by each and every one of us.

Hey all,
Just to let y'all know according to defendglenn.com walmart, best buy and a few others have either NOT pulled there ads or never ran ads during his show to begin with, so the color of lies and the daily koks are talking smack and blowing smoke,..Btw most of the advertisers are just moving their adds to other show, still no excuse, but this so called boycott isn't hurting Glenn or Fox. To get the real deal check out defendglenn.com.

Glenn Beck is already rich, and this is not “hurting” anybody, it’s a bunch of nonsense over nothing. The character he plays on his show seems to me to totally be an act. I’m not convinced he believes what he says, and I don’t see why anyone should care enough about an entertainer like him to protest anything.

Picketing a company for a decision like this is not very libertarian, either. These companies are entirely within their right to choose where they want to spend millions of advertising dollars: the rights of Beck & Fox to receive ad revenue are not constitutionally guaranteed. If you don’t like it, then just don’t buy their products, that’s the simplest and most direct mode of protest. Let the market decide — if Sargento sells more cheese because of this then I’d be the first to admit that they made the right choice for their company.

Who is really getting hurt here? The communists pulled their advertising from the #2 show of all cable shows. Unless the #1 show picks them up, they’re marketing to their relatively small minority of idiots (most of whom don’t buy auto insurance, and buy retail only with the five-finger discount.)

Here's a copy of what Sargento Cheese sent me....

We appreciate your sharing your concerns about our
advertising. Our organization remains true to its mid-western roots and
values. Some would say that means we're conservative. In the end, we
hold true to our nation's heritage that values free expression of
varying political opinions. We advertise on Fox News, however, we felt
Glenn Beck went too far when he suggested poisoning someone with whom he
disagrees. Rhetoric that reflects action that would result in the death
of someone is never acceptable to us. Therefore, we have advised our
advertising agency that they should reallocate our Fox News buy among
other Fox News programs.

Our wish overall is to move beyond the conversation about politics and
focus on our primary mission to bring consumers great cheese products.
We don't want to be associated with inflammatory speech used by either
liberal or conservative talk show hosts. Again, thank you for taking
the time to share your views with us.

This isn’t about Glenn Beck or his show. Its about how the left is using its organization to ram through their radical agenda. We must counter that.

Peter Lewis is a huge funding source for the radical left.

BTW even Cindy Sheehan has noticed the media biased, not that she really admits it.

I've heard the same argument used by shoplifters, newby.
