I was kind of impressed that CBS reported on this. But also had to temper my feelings with the knowledge that Fox News was reporting it a week-and-a-half earlier. Interesting story:

The rats are going to force a revolution in AmeriKa. They want to force it then bring it on!

We need to reclaim our country and or Government. This is the USA not Obama and Nancy’s USSA

We need to mobilize the the phones, the streets, the blogs. Let’s give the a bigger taste of their grassroots organizing the they gave us in 2008.

The people are talking quietly and are waiting for a leader to stopforward to lead our movement.

Let’s crush the RATS with their own game..

This AARP issue will get bigger! With CBS reporting it, it’ll make more members aware of their mistake. A lot of seniors are so scared of everything that the ImbecileOTUS is doing they’ll keep it for insurance sake unfortunately.

2 more dropped AARP membership this morning.

I brought up AARP with my conservative father-in-law over coffee this morning. He asks my mother-in-law if they are members of AARP, she says ‘yes’ saying they get all sorts of discounts on travel.

He says, when I get back this afternoon we are dropping our membership.

Yeah!

for years the NRA gave the truth about the AARP’s stance in favor of daraconian gun control....

That was why I never joined AARP and then looking into the socialsit nature of the organisation, I am glad I never did.

I am surprised that gun owners have not caused a difference in the membership rolls of this Marxist organisation, before the whole obamacare thing....

There are several posts on an alternative org that openly opposes Barry's plan. I can't remember their name, but if you do a search for AARP here, you'll find their name and be able to give seniors a suggested alternative.

Glad to see it. Heard it on the radio news yesterday, so news of AARP losing members is getting around. :)

I heard AARP talking points last night. To lessen the impact of the numbers leaving AARP, they claim they lose tens of thousand of people every month. The implication was that people opt out of the program. I suspect they opt out permanently.

I agree.
What amazes me is the number of conservative folks who blindly maintained AARP memberships.
This outfit is liberal all the way, seriously anti RKBA, and even tells their members there are hundreds of billions in the Social Security “trust fund”.

AARP has fooled a lot of seniors with their massive and clever mailings. Now that government heathcare is being pushes by Obama and the democrats, seniors are wising up.
