Warning: This post contains a graphic depiction of the murder of two FBI agents.

In the early summer of 1975, activists from the American Indian Movement (AIM), who had been staging a takeover of the Pine Ridge reservation at Wounded Knee, South Dakota, noticed two vehicles pull into the compound. The cars belonged to FBI agents Jack R. Coler, 28, and Ronald A. Williams, 27, who had come to serve an arrest warrant on a Native American kidnapping suspect named Jimmy Eagle. Leonard Peltier and two AIM comrades involved in the Pine Ridge takeover thought the agents were coming after them and opened fire on the vehicles. The Indians fired 125 shots—114 of which came from an AR-15 assault rifle—at the agents in their cars.

They didn’t stand a chance. Coler, mortally wounded, passed out from loss of blood. Williams, also injured, threw down his gun, stripped off his shirt and waved it as a flag of surrender. He then applied his shirt as a tourniquet around his fellow agent's shattered arm.

Peltier dispatched both of them, as they lay wounded, by shooting them in the head at point-blank range. Agent Williams, according to the pathology report, was killed with his hand held up to his face. The bullet went right through his hand into his head. He died, according to prosecutors, begging for his life.

Should have been executed like the agents were.

A car with bullet holes in it constitutes “graphic images”?

Graphic depiction. There was no mention of images.

Strange how these type incidents around the World died down after the fall of the Soviet Union but have begun coincidentally reappearing along with a re-emergent Russia and rising China.

" Well, what we learned was that the Parole Commission, which is a holdover group of people from the Bush administration and an agency of the Justice Department, is never going to parole Leonard Peltier."

Peltier, reports Goodman with a heavy heart, will now be ineligible for another parole hearing until July 2024, when he will be 79. She neglects to tell us in that report, however, how old the two FBI agents would have been, had they not run into Peltier on that June day back in 1975.

Typically screwed up liberal values and worldview.

That’s how proxy warfare is waged.

"Should have been executed like the agents were."

Such cold-blooded killing is only acceptable when considering the plight of women who are being "punished with a baby".

Like this Peltier, the women who got themselves pregnant with a baby they don't want are innocent victims of circumstances, and deserve to be exempted from the consequences of their actions.

I’m not the guilty one here. White racist America is the criminal, for the destruction of our lands and our people.

If one is a libtard behaviorist then everything is the environment's and society's fault. There is always a denial of free will and any personal responsibility

Thank you; but you conveniently left off:

2) to represent or characterize in words; describe.

...which is clearly the “depiction” to which the warning was referring.

"The American left soon rallied around Peltier. Such luminaries as Jesse Jackson, Ed Asner, Danny Glover, Tim Robbins, Susan Sarandon, Oliver Stone, and Rep. John Conyers soon became involved in the “Free Peltier” movement."

All the usual suspects.

Well not all, of course, but certainly some of the usual suspects.

These type of killings are evidence of how sick our society has become. The individual doing the killing should have been mounting a gallows, received 25 lashes, then hung; all within six (6) months of the murders.

I see him more as a reflection of the leftist political movements popular at the time. It was not society that oppressed him, as much he needed to free his mind instead.( My apologies to the Beatles) This was a tragedy and his action was criminal, blaming others for his decisions shows him still as a weak man.

The first definition is considered preferred which is what I posted. And most folks I know think of images when one says depiction

When will they stop yammering about it? They freely enjoy the benefits of whites building this country, the automatic citizenship that they received when this nation is formed, and as the same with Blacks, full emancipation via the blood of hundreds of thousands of whites.

As for their lands and people, what have they, as a people, done with it? They lived a nomadic life, pretty much going about with no major civilization being fully developed. The Incas and Maya built their civilization very well, but here in North America the minorities that whine the most tend to do the least with what they have to work with.

How many of you actually know the whole story?

I suggest you do a little research on this. You may find that Peltier is not guilty.

Peltier was just up for parole last week, and he was denied. He will not be up again until 2024.

If BHO does not pardon him, he will never be released.
