You have to know that despite the brave face put on for the media that these people have to be absolutely ashen faced and panicked late at night home alone.

The Town Halls of August are a phenomenon I have NEVER seen from this nation’s silent majority. We’re used to rent a mobs, we’re used to professional protesters, we’re used to students being led to chant slogans and rally for cause celeb of the month/year. We have never seen average Americans take the fight where it most needs to be taken, in our Senators and Representatives faces.

My father is in his 70’s and he wanted to go to his Representative’s town hall. My father, who worked in a corporate job for 34 years, has voted Republican for every Presidential election in his lifetime, who also thought Iraq was a horrible idea due to the old axiom you can’t win a land war in Asia is one of these people.

If something is so bad it gets my dad out of $2,000 recliner and out from the front of his Sony HDTV.... it’s gotta be pretty bad.

It has to be a grim revelation to her that the same old bullsh*t song and dance won't carry the day anymore. She has to answer to her masters at the DNC and now for the first time she has to answer to the people, between a rock and a hard place she is.

amazing how pols get elected to represent the people but just turn into another chip in the game for their party.
never in the history of our great country have the people had less representation than they do today.

That sums up our situation and anger perfectly. It is time for a line in the sand.

That doesn't stop them from TAXING US!

Maybe we could offer them French haircuts, while we have our tea and cake.

Its just so painfully true. Get elected once and re election becomes an almost forgone conclusion. What accountability i ask?
Pols love to disparage big business. Sometimes their anger is righteous but most of the time its simply a mask they wear to hide the same issues with big government. Out of touch with the people? not serving needs? monopoly? is there a greater monopoly than the power to legislate?
The claim “to serve the people” has in too many cases become a code for serving the special interests.

There were scores of other, less vocal attendees who sported stickers with messages like, “Health Care Now” and “We can’t wait.” Some were part of union organizing efforts. Others came with the encouragement of the White House’s national field operation.

Now that the populace is getting up out of their recliners, there is a great need to educate that silent majority in the intricacies of the political process. The Left is far more advanced in manufacturing votes, intimidation and all forms of chicanery to maintain power. We must become more sophisticated and knowledgeable AND willing to create hell whenever the Left deviates from the laws of liberty.
