While most prominent Republicans stuck Wednesday and Thursday to sober condolences — and several Republican operatives said it was too early to accuse Democrats of politicizing a sad moment — the conservative media, as well as some operatives, has seized on the whiff of politicization of his passing, recalling the bitter charges and countercharges that followed Sen. Paul Wellstone’s (D-Minn.) memorial service in 2002.

A bit of historical info on Wellstone and his untimely demise campaigning.

When he first ran for the senate he promised to serve no more than two terms.

His plane went down while campaigning for a 3rd term.

Had he kept his promise, he would be alive today.

I am sorry but when you refer to this poor excuse for a clown as “Dizzy” Dean, you are bringing GREAT DISRESPECT to one Jerome “Dizzy” Dean an ace picture of the St Louis Cardinals “Gas House Gang”, winning 30 games in 1934 with a 2.66 ERA...Also, PLEASE, don’t refer to this idiot Dean as
“Daffy” either as Dizzy’s brother Paul was known as Daffy and he won 19 games for the 1934 St Louis Cardinals.
Dizzy is also given credit for coining the phrase
“it ain’t braggin` if ya can back it up”
