As the Health Care Reform Town Hall meetings and Tea Parties heat up and the August Congressional summer session winds down, conservatives finally have a play book to help them gain traction on the slippery slope to socialism that they feel this country appears to be heading. “Rules for Conservative Radicals,” written by Michael Patrick Leahy (www.michaelpatrickleahy.com) takes the Alinsky viewpoints expressed in “Rules for Radicals,” and puts a moral, ethical, conservative spin on them.

Be not that far from me, for trouble is near; haste Thee to help me. Blessed be the Lord my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight. My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me. O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.

Ron Paul is someone I consider a conservative radical. He’s in favor of abolishing a lot of government departments

Honestly, right now, I am in full favor of pulling out of both Iraq and Iran.

With Bush and the Rep Congress, I believe they actually wanted to win on both fronts. They made some mistakes and capitulated, but they had the will to fight and were committed. Now, with the Commie in Chief and his Commie Congress, I believe there is no leadership dedicated to winning either battle or the War on Terror in general.

And, if our leaders are not committed to winning, they should not have troops risk dying. This is the same crap that LBJ did, when he and his staff believed they couldnt win, but felt it would be bad politics to pull out. The dems always wanted Iraq to be like Vietnam, looks like now they are getting their wish.

I am anxious to read this book. It gets frustrating taking on the Alinskyites while trying to stay within our moral boundries, to which they take great pains in exploiting.

Ron Paul is an anti-semite who is only a conservative/libertarian when he can screw Israel.

He’s a complete liberal flake job.

You’re right! There is not much worse than a politically correct war. but with the ACLU in charge, what can we expect. I’d say something about where to send the czars and their community organizer, but I’m sure they’re monitoring this board.

I’ll have to get this book - they’ll all fold if we turn the Alinsky tables on them.
