Obama's Speech To The Kids Was A Big Thing To Liberals...And Then Suddenly It Wasn't.

Liberals are saying that Obama's speech really wasn't that important, and that conservatives are overreacting.

Riiiight.

If the speech wasn't that important, then why was it absolutely necessary that Obama speak to the kids?

It was so important that the kids across America just had to hear Lord Barack (The Most Merciful's) speech...or it wasn't really that important, so there was no need for conservatives to even bother saying anything at all about it?

Which is it, liberals?

It WAS important to liberals, that is UNTIL Obama caved in and altered what he was really going to say.

Then to save face for the Most Merciful, liberals are now saying that the speech was really Most Trivial.

I wish he had been more truthful with “the children” and showed them some charts and graphs showing the enormous debt he is going to leave for them to pay off.

Not only that, but not a few "Wispy Conservatives" as I have come to call them (think Rich Lowry) were bemoaning and cringing at the thought that our objections to the school speech had played perfectly into Obama's hands.

And they slunk off to the bathrooms, to bathe their cheeks...cheeks scalding with humiliation. Wispy Conservatives are so terrorized by the prospect of embarrassment. (Think Charles Krauthammer and how he fretted over those who hollered with red faces in the town halls)

And poor, poor Neal Boortz. He was sore afraid. And he wrote in Townhall that we deserved such things!! how dare we embarrass Neal!

Well, Neal, do not fret, while you suffer your blushes. Weep away, Wispy Conservative, in the privacy of your fetal position.

I'd like to see the text of the original speech as it existed before the controversy. That's about as likely as seeing Obama's original vault copy birth certificate.

This so-called innocent and inspiring speech will be succeeded by increasingly directive speeches, as the public becomes accustomed and oblivious to his repeated school invasions.

When Bush 41 made his speech to students, the Democrats wailed, gnashed their teeth and investigated for wrong-doing. They found that Bush had spent 26K which apparently was shocking but not impeachable.

Did you watch the speech? He seemed animated and demented at the same time... I cannot imagine a grade school child understanding much of what he said and the picture on Drudge says it all........ the poor kids eyes are glazed over.
