Van Jones unfit for print: The green czar affair should put the final lie to The Times objectivity (KYLE SMITH, September 13, 2009, NY Post)
This is not an excuse, the managing editor of The New York Times said after offering the following excuse for completely missing the Van Jones story, except in a blog post: Our Washington bureau was somewhat short-staffed during the height of the pre-Labor Day vacation period.
Heres how long-staffed The New York Times actually is. Long after Glenn Beck reported back in July that Jones was historys first communist czar, and even after Gateway Pundit reported, on Sept. 3, that Jones had signed a wackadoodle 9/11 truther petition, The Times sent two reporters to Boston (in a story published Friday, Sept. 4) to pre-report the non-story of Joseph P. Kennedy IIs run for Ted Kennedys seat. (He later said he wasnt interested. Also, the picture of Joseph the Times ran was actually of his brother Max.)
Maybe they meant they didn't have enough photo editors?
A major reason why liberal newspapers, magazines and TV networks are running out of cash or going bankrupt. Such liberal news outlets can no longer be looked to for fair and balanced journalism and that is why their network shares are hitting rock bottom, why advertisers are pulling their money out of them because their readerships and viewerships are rapidly diminishing and soon this will be a zero sum game. I have no sympathy whatsoever for any corrupt liberal news outfit that will go out of business. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving lot.
And the beauty is that more and more Americans and advertisers are ignoring the NYT.
The people at the NYT are race pimps, and they are too cowed by a black president to question his decisions, especially when they involve another black man. As long as their Neocom objectives are moving along, everything is fine.
It surprises me to find someone who still entertains the notion that the NYT could be objective.
ROTFLMAO
They are beyond ridicule, beyond contempt.
SHORT-STAFFED ——— ROTFLMAO
“The green czar affair should put the final lie to The Times objectivity”
Don’t people say this, about different stories, several times a year? I think their supposed objectivity has already been demonstrated to be lacking.
