No president in history came to office with more political capital than Barack Obama. He squandered it like a lottery winner within a few months. If liberals had any sense of irony, they would appreciate the inanity of braying about racism right after America elected a black president.

Obama’s entire life has been devoted to fomenting racial animus. All of his mentors, from the rancid racist and surrogate father, Frank Marshall Davis to Fan of Farrakhan, Jeremiah Wright, have been rabid, whitey despising racists.

In his fictional “autobiography”, Obama is consumed by bigotry. He can find ersatz discrimination in nearly any situation. Even his white mother was preoccupied with race.

In Dreams, Obama describes his mother’s overly romanticized view of black Americans: “Every black man was Thurgood Marshall or Sidney Poitier; every black woman Fannie Lou Hammer or Lena Horne. To be black was to be the beneficiary of a great inheritance, a special destiny, glorious burdens that only we were strong enough to bear.” (Dreams From My Father, Pg. 51).

The modern definition of a 'racist' is someone who is winning an argument with a liberal.

Exactly why the media & liberals are all claiming racism as the motivation for the 9/12 march, pushback on Obamacare, etc. The size of the 'opposition' was/is a shock to them, Barry keeps yakking away and making things worse and they have nothing else to fall back on except to scream 'racist'. They are going to have a 'nervous breakdown' when it doesn't work and as another author said in a column .... it's going to get ugly.

I am pretty brokenhearted because a dear sweet Christian friend of mine (girl who happens to have darker skin than mine) recently felt the need to stick her fingers in the same doodoo bucket and fling it all over me.

Along the same lines I’ve heard it said that China shares a border with something like 28 countries and is in peaceful terms with very few of them. I guess North Korea *might* be an exception but then on the other hand they’re pretty much a vassal state AND I believe it’s still an armed border anyhow.

I have been watching all the cable networks and on MSNBC there is a debate between the liberal democrats (progressives) and the moderate democrats (moderate liberals) . The progressives like BCC, MSNBC Olbermann, Maddow, even Mathews are all enthused about this racist stuff. But the democrat moderates are pointing out that that the Jimmy Carter accusation was a disaster for Obama, that Carter starting a race was with everyone that is opposing or questioning Obama on policy is the worst thing that could have happened to Obama trying to get stuff passed. They also say reconcilation would be a disaster for democrats, as progressives are demanding(as I picked up on from them a few months ago.)

Obama may have been a race baiter at one point. He may have won dem primary because of race. But the last thing he wants and needs now is a race war or race debate. Glenn Beck speculated that Health care reform was really about racial reparations. This theme would kill most of Obama’s initiatives.

This does not have a pretty ending for democrats. Reconciliation has many rules that make it hard to use for this purpose, it also is a bad idea for them to use a shortcut to pass something so unpopular (on MSNBC where the progressives push this idea, all the polls magically show overwhelming support for the public option.)

Were all those Tea Party 9/12 marchers racists?

As Rush asked, “Can we have an AA president if EVERYONE who questions Obama is racist?” and why were we not given that rule before the election that we cannot criticize an AA presidents policies?

I am thinking that he is not a completely stupid man (as many here seem to think) and now as president his requirements for success are completely different than other positions he has had. If he was in House BCC race baiting would be a winner.
That he knows he would have lost the election if he depended on the Jesse Jackson voters vote. He needs to keep those moderates/independents, or at least some. His big personal flaw is he believes in his ability to convince voters just by speaking , as it seemed early this year,

If Obama was as bad as some of the extreme viewpoints here, he wouldn't had been this successful getting things passed, but with the help of Carter and Pelosi and some on MSNBC (and ACORN) his legacy has turned into a death spiral. this couldnt be more fun to watch.

The other thing is he has gone from Messiah to death spiral in only 3-4 months, with health reform being the big trigger but all this other crap coming up too. He is learning the honeymoon is over(thanks to FNC and others) . He cant afford a Carter/MSNBC race war, it will scare the moderate democrats off.

It’s a full out campaign to label any opposition to Obama & his minions as ‘racists’, then they don’t have to address the real issues. Their giant need to distract is creating untold damage to this nation and race relations.

This morning on the CBS morning show, Maggie Rodriguez just could not discuss any of this without playing the race card. She insisted the poster with Obama looking like the joker was racist...because it was ‘white face’. According to these media pukes we are ALL racists, they can distort anything!

LOL, now, now let's not get carried away. The voters are just starting to turn conservative again. We got a great thing going here. After 14 years of ‘blame republican’ the democrats are finally getting some heat. Let's enjoy it.

Pelosi killed all house liberal GWB impeachment calls from 2007-2008 to win the 2008 landslide, two landslide elections in a row. Impeaching Clinton didn't work that well and he was WHITE!

That strategy is great for Pelosi and liberals on MSNBC because they cant win a vote and cant admit it. But it kills Obama.

Obama like Bush needs big things passed, and needs bi-partision votes to be called a success. This is what I call the 'democrat death spiral'. It is a sign their legacy dream is dying.

This is as good as I was expecting last year when I calculated McCain would lose and we would have democrat gloating after the election, the real thing with real details is hard to imagine but I LOVE watching political shows again. Do I sound too cynical ??? LOL.
