The International Olympic Committee has been listening to President Soetoro’s recent accounts of America and they agree with him America is not what it should be.
President Soetoro spent the first few months of his presidency reaffirming all of the world’s most negative feelings toward America and they heard him. (see previous post)(see 2:16min video)
For years Democrats and Liberals have been attempting to undermine America’s position as world leading super power. Former Democrat President Clinton even forecasted that this day would come, a day when America would not be the pre-eminent military, economic and political power. (see related story)
America is now an “also ran” among the world powers due to decades of outsourcing American jobs for low wages and outsourcing American technology to China or any other countries that had low wage labor and/or lots of capital.

I’m not sure where this came from? There is no way that the Olympics would have done anything for the USA except for putting us deeper in debt.

I'm sorry. Did you get lost on your way to the DailyKos? Your statements are ridiculous and infantile. Any business is created to make money and they make decisions based on that premise. I would be willing to bet that whatever a corporation does that you dislike is most likely the result of a U.S. Government policy change or regulation. Moving overseas is an easy decision when the labor is cheaper(caused by feds), taxes are cheaper(caused by feds), pollution standards aren't as strict(caused by feds), and regulations aren't as restrictive(you guessed it, caused by the feds). If you want to blame someone for the mess we are in then blame government in general and the liberal democrats in particular.

I’m a patriotic Conservative; I’m not against Business or profit. I’m only against a Business that would put profit above their country. That is what these international corporations have done. The ones, of course, that have their origins in the USA.
Yes they blame it on government regulation but that’s just slight-of-hand to keep you and me looking at the wrong culprit.
But you are correct that our government has sold us out too. I’m only pointing out that they are not the only ones. And our government is not even smart enough to instigate this whole scenario. It is the Lehman Brothers, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and others who see vast opportunities overseas and they have left America economically weak as they transfer jobs out of this country like the White flight phenomenon which happens in US neighborhoods when minorities move it.
Do some research before you show your ignorance. It’s conservatives like you that give Conservatism a bad name! And that’s why we lost in 2006 and 2008. Get with it bub!
