NASA’s recent rocket launch into the south pole of the moon to see if water was underneath the surface moon. This little fact finding mission has cost the American tax payers roughly 79 million dollars. A 79 million dollar search for the answers that Almighty God’s Word states for absolutely free. One of the key reasons for this extravaganza was for the search of water for supporting a colony on the moon. NASA and its followers believe if water can be found on the moon or on any planet, that they can prove that “life” can existed in other worlds. There are many in the scientific community today that believes that extra terrestrial life exists and that they will be our saviors to our world and our mentors for our future. This expectation by the evolutionist community might sound strange to some but it is their earnest hope.
NASA - which is a government secular organization that promotes and breathes Darwinism, holds firmly to the absolutely ridiculous core beliefs of the theory of evolution. They reject passionately the reality that Almighty God created the heavens and the earth, especially in seven days and about six thousand years ago (Gen 1:1, Psalm 90:2, Isa. 45:18). They are the chief opponents to any teaching that contradicts their reprobate philosophy and ideology and are quite aggressive towards any who would want to teach creationism. These profess to be the off spring of time and chance and the descendants of hydrogen and monkeys. This alone takes more faith then anything that I can possible think of.

This was probably some of the most useful government spending ever, contrasted with the trillions it spends every year on welfare.
NASA is nothing more than PHD welfare these days.
Even with oceans on the moon, there is no economic way to justify any kind of settlement on the moon.

79 million is cheap by NASA standards... let alone the standards of spending in our Trillion Dollar Government
Robot space missions costs pennies (relative to manned flight) and are free (relative to Obamacare [for example]).
I have no problem with a 79-million-dollar lunar water-probe. And such a probe is not “based on evolution”. It’s based on a desire to find out if there’s any useful water there for the day (in some distant future) when we rise up out of the 3rd-world abyss our Nobel Peace President is dropping us down into and once again reach for the stars.

Who said they would starve? Nothing is stopping people from voluntarily helping the poor if they so chose to do so. But we've spent close to $10 trillion on welfare since the 1960s and what do we have to show for it? We have more people on welfare than ever now. That spending hasn't bought us jack squat.
The space program, on the other hand, helped to foster a new level of technological achievement that has helped to make many lives all over the world much better. The academic knowledge gained from space travel has helped us to better understand the science behind how the universe operates and hell, helped us to even win the Cold War.
The amount of money also spent on the space program is literally orders of magnitude less than what we've spent on welfare, and the former has much more of a productive legacy than the latter.
To bad they didn't talk to you before wasting all that money. Oh well, at least some folks got paid to buil the darn thing and that is better than the billions in government handouts.

I’m all in favor of a sensible space program and realize that numerous technological developments have come out of it over the years but this “moon crash” business at $79 mil during a miserable recession is one of the most unpalatable things that NASA has done, IMHO.
The problem is unregenerate mankind is willfully suppressing the truth about God in unrighteousness (Romans 1:18). But God is not mocked (Psalm 2).

If NASA is spending money, you realize, don’t you, that it’s going into the salaries of local people? Those local people—some scientists, some technicians, some support staff, some building maintenance people, some folks who fix the cars in the motor pool, some admins—use it to make their house payments and buy groceries and clothes for their kids. Even when the money goes to federal contractors, they too are using it to pay salaries. If it’s used to buy actual hardware, that money too ends up in someone’s pocket and gets recirculated back into the economy. In other words, it’s not as though NASA made a big pile of money and set fire to it.
Or would you rather that we close the whole shop down and put even more tens of thousands of people out of work? That would be helpful along about now.
