As the kids display symptoms of post-Halloween MSIH (Massive Sugar Intake High) on this first night of November, I thought I'd take the opportunity to get a head start on this years Christmas list.

Break out neglected board games; rummy; Uno.
Make special recipes together.
The possibilities are endless.
Make it a goal to spend Nothing, or if you must spend, spend it at a local shop or on Made In USA.

OOh, yeah, the kids are going to love that!!
Honestly, if you have no money to spend, that’s what you do, and the kids should understand.
But don’t be a cheapskate. Your kids only have one set of parents.
