“I just hope that the election officials in NY-23 are extremely vigilant.”

Absolutely! There’s already been too much cheating by ACORN and friends.

“If you’re in the district - get out Tuesday and vote!
Polls are great, but the buck stops on election day!

Just do it.”

Worth repeating!

Conservative voters need to show up in large numbers to offset the cheating by the left.

Thanks. Mark Steyn? LOL! I have loved his writing for years and is probably the best fill in for Rush. He is hilarious.

Well, put it this way, Christie is to the right of Corzine and Daggett.

He is better than both of them, and he will do better for NJ than the corrupt Corzine.

Glad he is up in the polls.

No matter what the official spin is, the Democratic congress people in tight distrcts will be watching, just before the Health Care vote. And they will know what that means.

If PPP has Hoffman leading by that large of a margin, then this will truly be a blowout.

Judging by the poll results, it looks like a bunch of the PUFFs (Party Unity--Forever Faithful) suddenly became PUMAs and went to Hoffman. Also note this:

If the candidates were just Conservative candidate Doug Hoffman and Republican [candidate] Dede Scozzafava, who would you vote for?

Results:
Hoffman: 53%
Scozzafava: 36%
Unsure: 10%

The conservative ascendency is on!

I wonder if the media will report this finding from the poll?

Sarah Palin more popular than President Obama in district he carried by 5+ pts.

Obama is 39-52 favorable. Palin is 43-44 favorable. 10% more favorable and 20% less unfavorable.

I’m sure we can count on our friends at MSNBC and CNN and NYT to point this out.

Maybe they are taking the Romney approach by letting their silence talk for them.

And the words of the prophets were written on the subway walls

Someone should put out a video with that song in the background and Mitt

More interesting tidbits. Among independents Obama is at 37-55 and Palin is at 45-40. A net 23pt difference.

And I thought all the independents loved Obama and Palin was poison to them.

What was poison to independents in Sept and Oct 2008 was the market losing 500 pts every day and company after company going bankrupt, not to mention McCain abandoning his whole ideology and siding with Bush in spending 700 Billion dollars. They couldn’t care less what Sarah Palin does or doesn’t read or what clothes she wears. We’ll see how they feel about Barack as unemployment and the deficit continue to rise. So far they’re not too keen on him it appears.

More fun. Remember how the media loves to tell us that the youth worship Obama and how they’re leaving the GOP. Lets look at Obama vs Palin among various age groups in NY-23.

Among those 18-29 which you’d think would be his most ardent supporters, Obama is at 30-62. Palin is at 46-35. A net 43pt difference. Among those 30-45 Obama is at 34-59, Palin is at 44-43. Among those 46-65 Obama is at 43-50 and Palin is at 41-48, not as great a difference but still ahead of him. And among seniors Obama is at 40-49 and Palin is at 45-43.

We’ll we see an article about how the youth are jumping ship from the SS Obama?

I doubt it.

I know it’s only 1 district in a special case, but still interesting data to ponder.
