"She wants to be unconventional. She is unconventional," HarperCollins spokeswoman Tina Andreadis said Wednesday. "She feels like this is where her fans are and Harper feels this is where she'll sell the most books." List so far (more cities expected): Grand Rapids, MI Nov 18th Barnes & Noble Mall of America, MN Dec 7th Washington Co, PA Nov 21 Sams Club, Trinity Point Drive (WA) etc.....
Us West Michiganders should show up and make this book signing the biggest book signing in the history of the world. I’ll be there.
A friend and I already have plans to go the Mall of America book signing. Go Sarah!
I have a feeling that many, if not all, these stops will turn into impromptu Palin rallies. It’s interesting that so many of the events are in states which 0bama carried, oh, I’m sure that’s just a coincidence. Really, I think it is a form of psychological warfare to demonstrate how popular she is even in 0bama states.
Those of us on the Left Coast could use from respite from the liberal swamp that surrounds us. Hope she decides to pay a visit or two out here.
List so far (more cities expected):
Fort Bragg, Fayetteville, NC
NC Ping?
I got to see Sarah Palin speak last fall in Raleigh with Lee’sGhost and mykdsmom! That was great. I would love to make the drive down to Fayetteville.
Note, MitchellC runs the NC ping list now so I will ping him.
Apparently this is one of the stops on her book signing tour, but no date or exact location are listed.
FYI and it's up to you if you want to ping this.
Which reminds me...time for Oysters!
Thanks, I had lost track of the pinger. Let me know if you want to carpool, CD. I really intend to be there. I’ve missed a few chances already and I can’t abide missing any more.

The FayOb listed around the 23rd of November, noon at the North Side PX.
Great! Thanks, I will try to be there.
Just stop that right now, buddy! It’s lunchtime...I could just KILL a peck of oysters and a cold beer or two.
Just about all the states mentioned went for Obama. So shouldn't that be the Almost All Blue State 16 City Book Tour?
Thanks for the tip, I’ll alert everyone.
Darn, we may have to travel all the way to Rochester, NY to attend one of these... 6 1/2 hours away... :-(
Fayetteville Observer
She will be at Fort Bragg's North Post Exchange, said a HarperCollins spokeswoman. The visit is tentatively scheduled for noon Nov. 23, although an exact time has not been determined.

I’m up for a book signing WOO HOO...go Sarah!
Tonight might just be right for 42nd Street.
Ok Beleg! I will let you know.
If she comes to Houston I’d stand in line for her book.

Friday, November 6, 2009Sarah Palin's Book Tour Coming to Texas
The Going Rogue Book Tour's first Lone Star State event has been announced. Sarah Palin will sign copies of her book from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Legacy Books in Plano, says Kyle Hall, the stores director of marketing and events:
Itll be strictly a signing (Palin wont be speaking), with no personalization. No memorabilia will be signed; books only. Books must be bought at Legacy, either in advance (bring your receipt) or that day. As with all Legacy events, if a patron cant come but wants a signed book, Legacy can arrange that over the phone. We could be wrong, but we're anticipating one, perhaps two more stops for the tour in Texas. We figure there should be one somewhere in Central Texas and another one in the Houston area.We should know very soon. Our schedule of the book tour is here.
Update: A stop in Fayetteville, AR is also now on the book tour itinerary.

Palin’s being to cautious in her choice of venues. When Ronald Reagan began his campaign in Sept ‘80 one of the first places he went was the South Bronx. It was then and now the poster child for either the left’s vision of the evils of America or the right’s vision of the ineffectiveness of govt. Reagan went there to send the message that he would be President of all the people. He did not win one extra vote for his efforts, but he demonstrated that he was unafraid to venture into hostile land. Palin should follow his lead.
Why not Georgia? We have book stores and everything :D
Governor Palin will soon be EVERYWHERE!She's just PRACTICING on these early venues -- so that she gets it right for the more IMPORTANT cities. :o)
