Stupak Amendment is Meaningless

Fellow pro-lifers have been sending e-mails celebrating the passage of the stupak amendment.  I'm not sharing in the celebration.  That amendment is nothing but a small fig leaf for the cowardly blue dogs.  Their lack of testicular fortitude makes it apparent that it only takes a small one to cover them.

Note the language in this excerpt from the NY Times.  The Stupak Amendment imposes "tight restrictions."  It does not ban federal money from funding abortions. The loopholes are big enough to drive a herd of buffaloes through.

To save the health care bill she (Pelosi) had to give in to abortion opponents in her party and allow them to propose tight restrictions barring any insurance plan that is purchased with government subsidies from covering abortions.

Pelosi and her fellow liberal bloodsuckers will have their free abortions, either through federal funding of planned parenthood, the giant Stupak loopholes, whatever. 

But Ms. DeGette, Ms. DeLauro and other defenders of abortion rights said they would nonetheless vote in favor of the health care bill and fight for changes in the final version, to be negotiated with the Senate.

I don't believe these lying bastards for a second.   And if you do, you haven't been paying attention.  A plague of liberals has been unleashed upon the nation, and they will destroy everything in their path.

The amendment is really nothing but a scam and will be removed from the final bill. Nazi Pelosi only allowed the amendment in order to get the votes required to get her America/American-destroying bill passed. Nazi knows damn well that PelosiCare will be using taxpayer dollars to pay for the murder of unborn Americans. PelosiCare is about terminating the lives of the unborn and the elderly in this country. They are a burden to Pelosi’s Marxist state.

The amendment means nothing.

They have several options as follows:

1) Ban all federal money for abortions except with the exception of the “health of the mother”, which we know is a loophole to allow all abortions.

2) Allow a czar or other bureaucrat to determine what is covered by the federal gov’t, thereby allowing abortion to be added at a later date without a congressional vote.

Those who supported this scam, and those who used it as cover to vote for this bill need to be identified for further consideration next election day.
