Liberals I know—country club types, financial types—they voted for Obama because he was sooooo smart. Gushing over his credentials. One told me she guessed she was an elitist after all. There is a strata of the population that thinks their lives won’t change when Obama redistributes the wealth. They figure they’ll be the power players. Meantime, more and more are hopping on the government payroll. Between the lobbyists, unions, government employees and those who collect welfare and all kinds of government aid, the half of the country that carries the water is getting to keep less and less of their pay. Maybe we should all work for the government. Then who pays taxes?!
