That's an average estimate. The number of guns owned by those individuals is quite a bit higher, obviously, and substantially exceeds the US total population (310 million). We own billions of rounds of ammunition. Obama and his advisers would do well to consider that fact should they even think about ceding our sovereignty, which is not actually theirs to cede.

Maybe some form of Registration and taxation.

Taxation – if there anything the National Socialist Democrats love more than depriving people of their ‘UN-PC’ civil rights, it's shaking them down for more vote-buying revenue.

It will be only after they have pushed these baby steps and failed that they will attempt to lower the boom on US.

Bilions of rounds is right.

Went to the Silverado gunshow down here In Maryland last weekend. Bought some 9mm and some 45acp,at 50 rounds a bag.

I am a total piker.

People are still buying by the case, particularly 9mm. That is 400 rounds a throw. That ain't for pinging paper targets!
