When you hear about ACORN getting help from the Justice Department (DOJ), most people hope it refers to the community organizing group getting an nice small room with bars, a warm bed and three squares a day. Unfortunately this is about the criminal enterprise ACORN, receiving money from the US department charged with maintaining law and order.
The Office of the Inspector General of the Justice Department investigated whether the DOJ had provided grants to ACORN. The investigation covered whether:
* ACORN applied for federal funds through DOJ-administered grant programs * ACORN received federal funds through DOJ-administered grant programs * Controls were placed on the use of DOJ grant funds awarded to ACORN * The DOJ conducted any reviews or audits of the use of DOJ grant funds awarded to ACORN.
Initially they did not find any direct DOJ grants to ACORN during the past 7 years, but they did find one recipient of DOJ grant funds entered into a sub-agreement with ACORN for program activities. They also found three instances in which a DOJ grantee entered into a sub-award with an ACORN affiliate, and one direct grant of DOJ funds to an affiliate of ACORN, In total, ACORN received one direct grant and four sub-awards totaling approximately $200,000 between fiscal years (FY) 2002 and 2009.

This is what Oboma meant when he referred to a "civilian" police force. Imagine ACORN members keeping people "safe" (from those who refuse to obey the glorious leader.)
They're already beating up people on the street who disagree with them.

I fear that most Americans will not wait for 2010. The lid is ready to come off. When these Americans finally realize that the communists have take over America things real bad will happen.
If the death care bill passes (knowing Americans don't want it) and the taxes for it start immediately, people are NOT going to be happy. They're going to be furious.
Then, the radical Commies are suppose to head for the amnesty bill.
