You are right, that is what they do whenever they argue with us, and what you describe I hear all the time. "We need 8 years to clean up Bush's mess, ...bla-bla-bla". You have to listen to them talk to one another to pick up on their worries. That is why I watch MSNBC and read their blogs. Ed Schulz (single payer lib) is the most honest about democrats being in trouble. Olberman is the least.

Thanks , I have been dying to share this disallusionment outside of individual comments I been posting. Much of this is natural,some even sweeter due to high expectations. I remember my reality setting in late 1995 with the shutdown. 2001 delayed it for GWB but made it much worse as Bush had the big head in 2002 and 2003.

Although if McC were POTUS he would like to pass something similar, he would have to be a lot more clueless than he is not to notice which way the wind is blowing for both Obama and crap and trade. I don't trust him, but my guess is he will find a reason not to vote for it.

I supported him with money, campaign assistance and votes when he won the primary - to my very great shock and horror.
But John McCain, Mitch McConnell and John Boehner as well as others are guilty of helping put the current impostor in the White House through their incompetence.
The Democrats alone have become a traveling freak show of far leftist loons drawn from the dregs of society.
ONLY the total ineptitude of certain liberal elements in the opposition help puts them in office.

I agree WRT crap and trade politics. IMO "The economy is fundamentally sound" (McC Sep. 15 2008) and related McC blunders are clueless though.

You mentioning McCain. That caused me to imagine he and his family at Thanksgiving dinner pleading with Megan to please same save some Turkey for the rest of them.
I haven't seen any recent posts about her either. I guess her 15 minutes are up. ;D
