Every conservative should read Alinsky and use his tactics against the Left. It makes them absolutely crazy.

Glenn Beck is good at this, drives them nuts.

the straw man of “racism”

You're allowing yourself to be gulled by these folks. I guess they're implying that there is some association between the pictured chimps and schvatzas as a race. I'd love to ask someone what that association is. I see none.

I’ve heard the Sirius guys (Wilkow and Church) mention it too. Although Church would say a few things and then draw the line.

This would be the biggest scandal in American History (although I think Climategate is worse yet, monetarily), however it would impact this country much worse. There’s a major credibility war going on right now between the two forms of media. For us it’s, obvious who the fringe is.

It’s frustrating, I wanted them to talk about the BC issue too, BUT what if they were WRONG and caused a firestorm similar to what we’ve seen with the TRUTHS of the Climategate scandal?
There would be a HUGE push back for the Fairness Doctrine.

Legal problem or money to be made elsewhere?

I anticipated some reaction along your lines when I posted that thought in hindsight about the possible use of an alternative artistic device in the advertorial.

It's really not a matter of being intimidated by them, it's a matter of thinking things out a bit more astutely beforehand so as to get the same bang for our strong position while at the same time minimizing the possible damage from the opposition. It's somewhat like military strategy in war: maximize your gains while minimizing your casualties. And yes, I agree that war is a great analogy to what we are engaged in here.

Sorry again. Chiang is dead. He can’t be President (but he still can vote)...

That way the lefties wouldn't have the straw man of “racism” with which to attack it, and it may have hit its mark without generating the intensity of the noxious reaction from the left that it did.

It's interesting that our side missed the monkey /racism thing - and the left "caught" it. Maybe liberals are the racists...

Yes, that argument has been made many times before. After all, what is affirmative action but "reverse racism"?

And as fellow Freeper null and void tells us, the three monkeys have been a symbol of "See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" since medieval times." Nothing racial about that.

Because as long as he doesn’t, people are looking to try and figure out what he is hiding.

What is relevant is out in the open. At the instant of his birth he had American British and Kenyan citizenship. He was never a natural born citizen.

THAT is what hiding the birth certificate is accomplishing. everyone is looking at what the right hand is hiding while the important thing is held in the open left hand. Its infuriating that people can’t see that, too busy trying to figure out what he is hiding..... rawr....

They have to go by what law was in effect when he was born.
