If you really want to stop the statist agenda and not just slow it down, then I suggest you secede or storm the White House. The GOP has never shown any real commitment to stopping the statist agenda, just reforming it and changing the direction.
As far as Romney bashing, I'm not a Romney supporter (or basher) -- I'm neutral on him and bashing Romney doesn't bother me in the least. I actually enjoy watching the money "Romney file" videos on Free Republic and think it's a valuable educational service.
But many of you will be in an awfully awkward position (as you were last year by having to support McCain) if Romney or some other RINO wins the nomination in 2012. My Palin bashing is nothing compared to the mountain of bashing that goes towards any candidate not deemed pure enough. Perhaps the purges will succeed in removing all RINOs between now and 2012, but if the purges fail you're right back where you started.
I concluded that by reading the posts. I see little logic or discussion of her views in any of them and a need of posters to assign views to others for their little rants..

Romney couldn't even beat an old, tired and decrepit John McCain who run about the worst campaign I have seen for decades, and you think he can beat the most charismatic politician in the country right now (yes she is more charismatic than 0bozo, who's halo is long gone), with more dedicated supporters than any Republican, Sarah Palin in any primaries?

The top of the ticket is Sarah Palin, or bust. Perhaps we'll have Michele Bachmann in the #2 spot, maybe not, but the communist media have also told us the same about her.
Palin / Bachmann 2012 -- is the communists' and their lamestream media's worst nightmare, and they tell us this day in and day out, over and over and over and over, for anyone who is willing to listen.
In the meantime, Gov. Palin has stated she will support conservative candidates in their 2010 races. These 2010 campaigns are just as critical to the survival of the USA as the 2012 elections, assuming we survive to next November.

Actually I tend to agree with you (that’s why I don’t see why so many are so afraid of him), a couple of southern governor I would like to get in the race. If Gov. Palin wins the nomination, I hope she has to fight all the way, then she will be ready for what Pres. Bush faced.

2. First voted for Richard Nixon when he ran against Hubert Humprey. Have supported Republicans for president, except for James E. Carter (a mistake) ever since and have supported mostly Republicans (with some exceptions) for just as long. Have seen the South Carolina Democrat Party evolve from men like L. Mendel Rivers (a true patriot and one of the best friends the military has had) to members that rejoice at a natural disaster threatening to disrupt the Republican Convention.
Now THAT is funny...now I understand why Gov. Palin is Kryptonite to you, you conservative superman, you...Yep, you are obviously a true conservative (I think almost ALL of us conservatives voted for Jimmuh Carter)...you voted for Carter...a mistake? You THINK?
