Just spoke with several sources in the US Senate on the health-care reform legislation status. My inquiry concerned how the substance and procedure was going to unfold between now and a final cloture vote on the bill.

Die! Die die die die diediediediediedie.
May it burn in hell forever AMEN.
I condone this murder. May it never strike us again.
If this thing dies, no one will be more surprised than I. Since August, I’ve thought this was a done deal, and only a matter of buying off the right people. I certainly hope I’m wrong, big-time, on this.
We can only hope, er, for change not to happen!
Please God let this HORRENDOUS bill die a painful, agonizing death. Please don’t let this crap pass. Let it fail, let it fail miserably
I hope God has one more favor for us.
So refresh my memory. If we want it to die, is is supposed to get the blue pill or the red pill?
I think they’ve got to do something but it’s a far cry from what the rats have been proposing.
1. TORT REFORM
2. interstate availability
3. send Mexico - or whichever country - a bill for illegals
the US taxpayer shouldn’t have to subsidize Carlos Slim and his fellow oligarchs
4. national major medical pool for those who don’t have other insurance - price based on income. I’m sure there are those who won’t agree with this ...I’m not sure I agree but there needs to be something that people at high risk can and buy into - like assigned risk auto insurance.
For sure the system needs fixing - but not by Ezekiel Emanual and the rest of the nut cases in this administration.
Sadly, I agree with you. May we both be terribly wrong.
On to the next socialist vampire ... Crap 'n' Tax.
Continue on to the next socialist nightmare ... forced unionization through card check.
Only when those 3 albatrosses are lifted off America's neck will the economy finally begin to recover in earnest.
tort reform and allow us to cross state lines to purchase insurance and it would go a long way towards reforming healthcare for the positive.
Did any GOP senator vote yes for cloture to begin debate on this bill? None did. Not Snowe, not Collins, no GOP senator. Period. We only need one defection to kill this - Lieberman, Lincoln, Nelson etc
The bill was actually dead in the house, but the GOP revived it by going along with the abortion amendment. Hopefully that might be a poison pill later on. There are still a lot of bridges for this to pass, but this would be a great time for it to derail.
Unless—and this is huge-—unless Reid goes the 51-vote route, which, under pressure from Zero, I fully expect he will. We’ll see if I’m right, and I’ll be VERY happy if I’m wrong: among other things, it would mean that a mere GOP takeover of the House would be sufficient to budgetarily undo much of what has already happened.
p.s. to #8— I can also never remember whether to cut the blue wire or the green wire...
I’ve called, written, and tea partied all I can. I can’t think of anything else to do except maybe make a little Harry Reid doll and stick pins in it.
Go toward the light..go to the light..
No, no, no. Just a swift and certain death.
Die commie scum!
