When You Eliminate The Impossible; Whatever Remains, However Improbable, Must Be Taken Seriously

THE BATTLE OF ATHENS, TENNESSEE 1946

I couldn't read all of it. Ballot stuffing on a grand scale, I'm not buying it. Not when they know all of the firearm buying is going on, and they do nothing to prevent it. IIRC, two thirds of the rat attorneys general are arguing to incorporate the Second Amendment. Occam's razor tells me it's just shear arrogance and Chicago power politics.

Now there is a strong possibility that despite knowing that this is likely electoral suicide, knowing that it probably will finish off any hope that the economy will recover; that they are willing to publicly be seen as willing to pay off any Senator at any cost, pull any trick parliamentary maneuver, all to pass a bill [which they have not read, as with all major regime initiatives]. This bespeaks an arrogance worthy of the 1788 French nobility, a faith in a Socialist future worthy of a zampolit, or a sure and certain knowledge that they will never again be at risk of being held to account by the voters.

Wanna bet.

Oh, crap. This makes it all too clear. What does it mean when people who live or die by their fear of the vote now act in concert as though they have no fear of the vote? I’m pretty sure the answer is not, “It’s just a coincidence.”

This is pretty much what I've said in my Fourth of July Tea Party Speech

We now know that over 220 million - that’s 220 MILLION - people have been killed by their own governments since the beginning of the 20th century. Not casualties of war, but a casualty of the same evil that now appears to have gotten the upper hand here today. It’s that unappeasable appetite to control - and ultimately to consume - mankind. The will to power.

So yes: ideas matter. And it is no exaggeration to say that the same ideas that have animated the 20th century’s worst mass murderers now have a happy home in the White House. Obama and his minders are worshippers in the same pew as Stalin, Castro, Mao, Chavez and Pol Pot. They all bow before the same altar of human sacrifice and power for power’s sake.

That's who we're dealing with today and that’s the pedigree of their ideas. The Constitution and the rule of law are just so much toilet paper to those who would rule us now. Our values – honor, duty, love of family, love of country, reverence for our Creator - are punch lines to sneering jokes told by smug ‘progressive’ late night TV show hosts to applauding audiences.

It's not about the money, folks. Don't believe that for a moment. Money’s just a means to the end. To what end? George Orwell told us long ago in his classic 1984:

'...The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power. Not wealth or luxury or long life or happiness: only power, pure power... We are different from all the oligarchies of the past, in that we know what we are doing. All the others, even those who resembled ourselves, were cowards and hypocrites.’

‘The German Nazis and the Russian Communists came very close to us in their methods, but they never had the courage to recognize their own motives. They pretended, perhaps they even believed, that they had seized power unwillingly and for a limited time, and that just round the corner there lay a paradise where human beings would be free and equal. We are not like that. We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it.’

‘Power is not a means, it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship.’

The object of persecution is persecution.

The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power. '

So we are now in the endgame of Antonio Gramsci’s and Saul Alinsky's heirs and disciples. These are the murderous great-great-great-great-grandchildren of the French Revolution, cold-eyed with contempt for you and yours; spiral-eyed crazy with hate for what you believe in and they possessed of that utterly unappeasable appetite for controlling mankind.

Just as Hitler was completely candid in "Mein Kampf" about what he intended to do with Germany, the Jews and the world, so the Progressive Left has been completely up front about where they intend to take America, how they've planned to do it and what they're going to do once they get there.

So, when it comes to the Constitution and rule of law, it’s only a game - and when they're tired of it, they’ll not only sweep the pieces off the board, they’ll upend the table and put a bullet in you while they’re at it. As far as so-called 'progressives' are concerned, rules are for losers and history - god-awful bloody history - is my witness.

But don’t take my word for it. Here’s what Niccolo Machiavelli, 15th century advisor to Florentine nobles had to say when it came to conquering those who lived in relative freedom:

"When cities or provinces have been accustomed to live under a prince... they do not know how to live in freedom... and a prince can win them over with greater faculty and establish himself securely. But in republics, there is greater life...they do not and cannot cast aside the memory of their ancient liberty, so that the surest way to conquer them is to lay them waste."
--This, from Machiavelli's most famous work, The Prince

So don’t look now, but we’re all living in what's left of a seriously weakened Constitutional republic in which the collapse of the ideas underlying individual liberty is very far advanced.

Take a good long look at what’s happening now in America. Then dare to turn around and take another look. If what they're saying doesn't square with what they're doing; if it looks like there's an concerted effort to destroy our once Constitutional Republic and replace it with... something else - then you're probably right. None of what's happening today makes any sense unless you look at it that way - and then it makes a perfectly clear and terrible sort of sense, doesn't it?

By every measure of reason, this regime is working to destroy our republic for their own ends. Even at its worst, America with all its faults, is a paradise compared to the concentration camp culture of the Machiavellian Marxists who have gotten the upper hand today.

So those of you who believe that you're going to talk or vote your way out of this are simpely whistling past the graveyard of the once-free American republic. None of the vermin who hold office today have any fear of being removed. That much is obvious.

You know where this is going to go, and that there can be only one way that it can end.
