Is it okay to be afraid now? We are 1 day away from the Senate ruining my Christmas and my life

I just saw that the Associated Press released an article entitled "Senate pushes toward passage of health bill" which worries me, troubles me, and should make me afraid. Afraid of what this is going to do to my Christmas and my life, as the Democrats work toward an 8 a.m. deadline on December 24th for all of us to cover the expenses of 30 million uninsured individuals.

You see, I'm a regular hard-working American. I'm also an insurance salesman, as well as a writer. I've been selling insurance longer than I've been writing articles, although I've been writing ever since I could hold a crayon to a wall.

As an American, I am already overtaxed on everything I buy and everything I do. I live in silent fear of the IRS who can do untold damage to me financially just because it wants to. I don't know how much more of this I can handle mentally or financially.

As a Christian, I hate the fact that the IRS demands more of my income than my God. When the checks come in, I automatically set aside a greater portion for mortal men I have never seen than an immortal God I hope to one day see. One threatens to put me in jail in if I don't pay up, the other promises eternal life either way but says 'please do me a favor and feed those who are hungry.'

As a healthy individual, I do not want my insurance premiums to skyrocket on me. I currently pay less than $80 per month because ...

I seriously doubt it, it borders on the impossible.

Dont let them steal it...get prepared for the real change that is coming. Once more people are laid off, the bonds crash, and there is no welfare there will be a revolution. Find like minds, prepare and be ready to act. This government despises the people and is run by the global corporate elitists. There will be a time to act...be prepared.

I agree rahbert but I for one am willing to stand up to my govt but I can’t do it alone, that would be stupid and suicidal. 2-3 million of us would be able to institute change. We would bring the govt to a screeching halt. And when the govt sends their jackboot thugs I for one am ready for whatever they bring. I’ve fought. For this country once, I’m willing to fight for it again.

"The first way is violence..."

I was just thinking last night that the Capitol police must be on high alert. If a Senator were unable to vote, what would happen?
