Two sentences contained in an ABC News article published today stand as proof that the network and its faux reporters are in denial when it comes to identifying terrorism and terrorists:

Two sentences contained in an ABC News article published today stand as proof that the network and its faux reporters are in denial when it comes to identifying terrorism and terrorists:

It is unclear how powerful the explosive could have been and what the man's intentions were. Initial reports were that fireworks or firecrackers had gone off on the plane.

Though writers Richard Esposito and Scott Mayerowitz had already stated in the article's second paragraph that they had learned the man said he was directed by Al-Qaeda to explode a small device in flight, over U.S. soil, they opted to include the sentences highlighted in blue above in the 11th paragraph of the article. Also, please note the headline: Man Attempts to Set Off Explosives on Detroit-Bound Airplane (see screen-shot above).

There is nothing "unclear" about the man's intentions -- unless, that is, you're a member of the mainstream news media, living in a state of denial much like the one in which President Barack Obama seems to live. He was out to kill passengers aboard Northwest Airlines Flight 253 as it was en route to Detroit from Amsterdam. 'Nuff said.

Perhaps one of these days, reporters might be more afraid of the public than of their paymasters and overlords?

Could it be because Hussein Obama and the “D”’s are in charge of National Security?

It is truly sickening. Zero is setting us up for another attack, by his trying to hide terrorist activities. I believe this idiot imposter that has taken up the office of the Presidency, has islamic ties & does not want to speak out against them. If anyone disagrees with me, that is your God given right...but until I see a bona fide birth certificate I won’t believe anything else...

BTW, A Merry Christmas to all the FReepers!

That's right. There is no war on terror now, because Obama has calmed the Moslem world and brought us all together. This must have been a mere isolated incident.

The end of the AP article stated that the motive behind the Christmas day attack is unclear. (Makes me want to scream and bang their heads into the wall.)

Perhaps one of these days, reporters might be more afraid of the public than of their paymasters and overlords?

Only if they start feeling fear up close and personal like.

I am certain the man was a deluded member of some Christian fundamentalist group and not at all connected with the religion of peace. Besides after all of Obama’s bowing and scraping the whole world loves us. Sarcasm

If someone yells "Allah abkar" and fizzles a bomb and nobody gets killed, then it's not terrorism.
But, if someone yells "Allah abkar" and kills solders at Ft Hood that's um not Terrorism sither.

I don't get it.

This wasn’t terrorism, just the malfunction of a foot warming device, call in the Consumer Protection police and arrest the evil corporation responsible.

It was terrorism when everyone thought it was probably some redneck geek setting of firecrackers.

Once you throw the words al Qaeda and Muslim into the mix, the word terrorism goes out the window.

It's one of those goofy, "hope and change" things.

To ABC, the election of Reagan and Bush 43 were acts of terrorism.

Maybe Terrorist General Holder put out the word to the press: use the word “terrorist” at your peril.

You cannot have terrorism from Africans while “The One” is in office.

Must be attributed to something else... a misfiring Kwanzaa candle...
