Could this actually be the greatest and potentially the deadliest of Obama’s screw ups so far?

I missed the implications of this up front and I bet you all did too, but I am hearing from members of the American intelligence community and some on the outside closely connected to those on the inside who are raising a huge red flag right now.

It appears Barack Obama inexperience and amateurishness has just started bonfires on the bridges connecting him to the American intelligence community and delivered a huge, HUGE psychological win to Al Qaeda.

People tell me the President’s rush to acknowledge the attack on the CIA in Afghanistan and mourn the deaths openly, publicly, and via press release is a huge no no. The CIA and greater intelligence community would prefer not to have the attention put on them. Additionally, because the President took the time to draft a blanket statement focused on the CIA in general instead of individually and more privately focusing on the families of the victims, it acknowledges the CIA’s work in Afghanistan, acknowledges that the attack has an impact on the CIA, and gives the terrorists a new recruiting tool — “you too can cause America to publicly mourn the loss of their spies.”

To you and me this may not seem like a big deal. But I’m told this is hugely significant and shows just how out of touch the Obama administration is with the intelligence community. I’m told that no other President has issued such blanket statements of public mourning directed toward an attack on the CIA and thereby having the White House itself confirming an attack on our intelligence community.

The intelligence community is licking its wounds right now and Obama’s rush to confirm for the world that the community suffered such wounds has the intelligence community simmering tonight and Al Qaeda preparing a PR blitz with what they view as good news.

UPDATED: Take the information above and couple it with this. The White House is subtly blaming the intelligence community for the failure to deduce the Delta/Northwest attack.

Why?

Because the President is worried about being blamed, the White House is trying to blame the CIA while at the same time undermining the CIA through a rush to publicize the Afghan attack.

Either this White House is willfully trying to sabotage the intelligence community or they are rank amateurs. I pray to God in Heaven it is the latter.

This is where the TOTUS has reached the limits of its pay grade. $0.00. I knew they didn’t call him Zer0 for nothing.

A mistake? I doubt it. Nothing this man does is by chance or mistake. He is carefully programmed by those pulling the strings and this move by him, IMHO, is being directed from those handlers.

It's just to convenient to purely coincidental that EVERY ‘mistake’ or ‘misstep’ he makes benefits a Islam in some way.

I hate having to be so suspicious, but my gut tells me when it comes to this man it's the only way to approach his actions.

What better way to both warn his Muslim compadres AND reduce the efficiency of our intel agencies? Make it look like just one more example of his total lack of experience and leadership ability.

Watch out, America! We are seeing the end times, both of God's plans for Earth and the plans of Obama’s handlers to destroy our way of life.

re: “It’s just to convenient”

Darn, obviously that should be “too” convenient and not “to” inconvenient. Too bad I can’t learn to do at least a cursory review of my ramblings before doing the Post thing.

From the get-go I thought he did it on purpose. Covert intelligence assets rely on stealth and anonymity and Obama shot up a signal flare and said “we got spies over here!”.

“Nothing this man does is by chance or mistake.”

Completely agree. Economic disasters, takeovers, healthcare disaster (to wet us up for 100% gov’t. healthcare), etc.

And yes, always in the past it was “U.S. Civilians”, “contractors”, etc. However, I’m sure that Valerie Plame will set the record straight.

Henceforth I propose he be renamed to SCROTUS. It seems to fit in so many ways...

I would not be surprised if Obama were to put another agency above the CIA to “re-organize” it, there is miles of legal issues in such a move and assuming anything and everything Obama does is indeed a strategic move then he would and could create in short order his own personal security and intelligence agency.

Following the history of Hitlers SS and Gestapo timeline its almost the ripe moment for Obama to start them up, I say almost because there still is an event on the horizon that Obama needs to gain the publics acceptance, a nationwide panic from an attack in the US.An attack that further shows the incompetence of existing intelligence agencies.

Mark my words.

I can't stand him.

I am seriously thinking of no longer coming to FR or any news organization. Sure, I'll keep donating and voting, but I don't know how much of this i can take before my heart explodes in my chest.

Either this White House is willfully trying to sabotage the intelligence community or they are rank amateurs. I pray to God in Heaven it is the latter.

All signs point to the former. The latter might apply were it not for his prosecution of the CIA agents, the pesky leaked facts emerging from the failed Christmas Day terrorist attack and his constant playing of the blame game.

Exactly. It ain’t no ‘out of touch’ error—it’s intentional and despicable.

The rash of “terror” reports is daunting and meant to cause fear. The press is aiding this sense of impending doom and there is a definite pattern here as these reports seem to be coming minute by minute all over the world.
This usually signals something vast while we are sweating the small stuff. Distract from what is really going on, and I find it somewhat uncomfortable that both bam and pelosis are off the mainland in relative bubbles away from the public eye.
I also find myself questioning the fact that CIA had info about “the Nigerian” and now that it has gone public that the system has completely broken down, EIGHT CIA officers are just wiped out in Afghanistan in the blink of an eye by a suicide bomber who just walked right in to a forward base without so much as a search.
That Detroit “bomber” had help getting into the US and it had to come from the State Department who absolutely knew the man’s name and that he was a terrorist planning to do us harm because his father told them so. That makes someone/s at the US diplomat level complicit in this crime and there is no way they can squirm away from it.
So many dots and so little time.

***************************

NO ONE is asking anything about the State Department. Doesn’t that seem a little bizarre to you?

You have to understand that TOTUS is insane. I would not be surprised at all if TOTUS did not have a hand in the attack on the CIA himself or the terrorist attacks on the US.

If you will remember, TOTUS himself has been one of the leading cheerleaders and efficianados of BUSH DID IT! And who has egged the Truthers that want to implicate Bush in the 911 attacks.

If somebody stood up tomorrow and implicated TOTUS with the 911 attack, I would not even twitch at such evidence being revealed. He’s insane.

Kommander ZerØ is the living embodiment of The Peter Principle, squared...

Elevated once to his level of incompetence, he was raised once again higher by a confluence of foreign money, a corrupt & sycophantic Media Hive, and delusional voters who used him as a Rorschach Blot to project and displace upon.

Elections... have consequences...
