Here is video of former Nightline Anchor Ted Koppel telling the BBC that the attempted terror attack on Christmas Day has been an "absolute triumph for Al-Qaeda." Koppel believes there has been a terrible "over-reaction" to the attempt, which is exactly what Al-Qaeda wants.
Koppel said Obama's initial reaction to low-key it following the attack "was the right one." But Koppel said Obama was pushed into a stronger reaction by media and public expectations.
Koppel's comments are clearly his way of trying to defend Obama's initial reaction to the attempted attack and help him to fend off criticism. Somehow I don't think he would offer the same defense for George W. Bush. . . . (VIDEO)

The Obama excuse team will try anything.
Hummph...yeah, imagine that...public expectations...like wanting to be protected. Koppel is an idiot.
When will these clowns realize they want to take over the world and kill all who disagree with them.
“over-reaction”
It would be poetic justice if Koppel’s Lear jet blows up.
No such luck

From "MBC"...
"...on 4 November 1979 Iranians seized the American embassy in Iran, took Americans hostage, and television news took another step toward becoming the most relied on source of news. Four days later at 11:30 P.M. ABC News aired a program called The Iran Crisis: America Held Hostage anchored by Frank Reynolds. Roone Arledge, ABC News president, decided this program would continue till the hostage crisis was over, and that it would eventually become a regular late-night newscast. After about five months The Iran Crisis became Nightline, and Koppel, who had anchored The Iran Crisis several times, became the permanent anchor for the new program. Since 1980 it has been difficult to separate Koppel from Nightline. Koppel retired from Nightline in 2005."
Ted, how do you feel about the Administration’s OVERREACTION to H1N1?
After all it was only ordinary American citizens onboard the flight, not any important or valuable people like government employees or journalists...so whassa bigga deal?
I guess his daughter wasn’t on that plane.
somewhere there is a chicken running around with it’s head cut off... oh yeah, that would be the the Obama admin.
It was easier for the prosecution to try to convince OJ’s jury that he was the killer than it is to convince the MSM that the community organizer is in WAY over his head.
Does Ted still sport that comb over mop on his head? I didn’t bother to view video... but yep, idiot is the precise term here. Lets say you were a passenger on that plane and when you land and get the full of what just happened, that you nearly lost your life, and that because the president wants to downplay any and all terror attempts as a means to quell the furry in the minds of the demented, and then you hear an idiot mop-head suggest that O made the right call initially... has got to make you angry. I wasn’t on the plane, and I’m pissed. “Thank God for the blunder of the terrorist”, has got to be what the white house is thinking right now, but for different reasons than why I thank God.
He did. He's trying to come back now.
