The one question Ann — and anyone else — should ask Sharpton the next time he goes off on Trent Lott’s comment on the occasion of Strom Thurmond’s 100th birthday:
“Mr. Sharpton, you ran for President once. If, at some future event held in your honor, someone said, ‘This country would be a better place if Sharpton had won,’ would you take that as a specific endorsement of what you did in the Freddy’s Fashion Mart and Tawana Brawley affairs?”
Sharpton is now saying the bubba’s comments about Obamao are ‘troubling’.
Good one lady lawyer. Bet you’d LOVE to rubber hose Sharpton under cross!
You know, its OK for a black person to call another black person a N****, but a white person would be considered a racist.
There IS a double standard and it begins WITH BLACKS themselves. Liberals come in a close second.
This DOES have a silver lining. From now on, nothing the Liberals say about racist this or racist that will mean anything. This incident will be thrown up in their face and they’ll spend the rest of the time looking stupid back-pedaling. LMAO!

I agree, she missed her opportunity with Sheets. On the other hand, Sharpton actually had something of a point. Reid’s observation is predicated on the racism of white voters, who supposedly would only vote for a black that looked and sounded like him. We haven’t real evidence to disprovwe thw supposition, burt the implicit unproven accusation of racism is insulting—to the American populace.
The fact that Al Sharpton has a national stage and that his opinion on race is somehow relevant shows just how totally fouled up we are in this nation. As long as whites continue to back away from race and all the BS hypocrisiy around it we are doomed as a nation.
Maybe Anne should have had Barbara Billingsly there to translate.
When I caught that segment on Hannity, I finally had to turn it off. Sharpton is insufferable. I tried...since Coulter was there, but I just couldn’t stomache the density of Sharpton’s brain. What an idiot.
Sharpton has no place on a serious political program.
