Hayworth's support of Bush's big-government polices included voting for the No Child Left Behind Act; the paperwork- and red-tape-friendly (and business-unfriendly) Sarbanes-Oxley Act; the pork-laden 2005 highway bill that included the infamous "bridge to nowhere"; and, most expensive of all, a Medicare drug benefit that created more than $7 trillion in unfunded liabilities. What is more, his support for a monstrosity known as the 527 Reform Act, which was intended to close "loopholes" in McCain/Feingold, and which was arguably worse for conservatives than the original article.

If he removes McCain that’s hero enough for me. :-)
So he’s “McCain Light” on some things. He’s still a HECK of a lot better than McCain!
Post of the Day
Hell, he’ll be hero of the YEAR.
Exactly. LOL
And unlike McCain he has been right on some items we care about. With McCain he doesn’t just choose to be wrong or disappoint here and there. He grandstands on the items most dear to conservatives to burnish his Maverick credentials every single damn time. He’s only laying low now because it’s election time. I’ll take someone who’s with us some of the time over someone who is against us most of the time on the issues we actually have a big stake in.
same here dump McCain ...
A lot of people got suckered into “support the president” not just JD ... Now we know.
McCain. Gotta love a guy who doesn’t want anyone to be able to exercise their free speech rights and possibly imperil his incumbency.
This piece has already been posted by your partner in crime, Maelstorm...try searching next time, maybe?
FYI...
A Rasmussen poll that came out last Wednesday has McCain up by 22

I second that.
At least JD didn't go about accusing the Bush administration of torturing Al Queda terrorists, using terms like “But you know, it goes back to the Spanish Inquisition.” to describe the Bush admin's supposed “torture” of the Al Qaeda vermin.
I remember when McQueeg could not get on the Sunday morning talk shows fast enough to stab George Bush in the back. He was the darling of the dimoKKKRATS and the msm.
Dump McCain this election, and if he doesn’t do a good job, we dump Hayworth next election!
But at least we’d be rid of Juan!
Martha Coakley was ahead by 30% with just 2 months to go to the elections. What happened to her?
He’ll have to do until the real thing comes along.
I know. I was just sharing the information so others could get an idea of where the race stands as of last week. I didn’t mean to imply McCain would run away with this one.
That was before JD quit his job.
A forced retirement for McCain would send shockwaves through the RNC. Bring it.
