Shitake mushrooms! "The House and Senate have passed a bill. If the House were to take up the Senate bill, that bill would then go to the President's desk." Is this reality or perhaps another Obama admin. scare tactic?

And do we take this to mean that the House would be adopting the Senate Version of the bill?

Over in the real thread where we discussed this, it was noted that the “one vote” isn’t a person’s vote, it’s a “house vote”. If the house voted for the senate bill, it would be done.

I don’t know about health getting reformed, but we will have insurance reform, and all the big government that goes with it.

I’m pretty sure it’s gotta be more problematic than 1 vote in the house - otherwise, Nancy Pelosi would never have come out as said “we don’t have the votes to pass the senate bill”...NEVER!

The one from Breitbart posted earlier, with the same name, that links the exact same YouTube video that you linked in your blog:

This thing will probably be passed and signed. That as made almost inevitable when the Senate voted to cut off debate on its version. Once we have it we will never be rid of it short of actual legal national bankruptcy and then only maybe. It is the thing that will be maintained even as the military is disbanded for lack of funds because it is control. It centralizes with the government all the information about everyone and gives the government immediate control of all paychecks and bank accounts to be allowed or to be confiscated at bureaucratic whim. The socialized medicine is bad enough but these things are never only about medicine or evenly primarily so. The Clinton attempt was largely about mobility control. Had it passed one would truly have had to get government permission and show ones papers in order to travel. This one will eventually have that feature, too, added in.

And whatever the version that is signed, after a little time it will include everything the socialists want in it.

If this passes, there will not be enough room on the Mall to contain all the millions that would march on Washington.

Why would "it" be done. The Obamacare thing is a REVENUE bill ~ it has taxes in it.

Tax bills and the budget have to originate in the House.

If the House voted for this bill they would own it, and would be originating it, and it'd have to be sent back to the Senate for another vote ~ and that's where they'd have to get past the 60 vote cloture hurdle.

So, yeah, Obama's running dog lackeys are using unsubstantiated scare tactics ~ and they're doing that most likely to just make you feel uncomfortable.

Whatever this guy gets passed into law will be UNPASSED next January.

One collective vote not one individual vote. As in a favorable vote in the House on the Senate Bill. The one Pelosi has already said she can’t get passed. Gibbs rattling about nothing, he’s got nothing.

“We were one vote away...” will emerge as a their false positive on the issue after it’s dead and gone.

I agree, they are a LONG way from passing this thing. The House has tons of problems with the Senate bill, and some of them can’t be corrected through reconciliation, like abortion.

I don’t know about the other issues, but I do think that Bart Stupak is dead serious about opposing ANY bill that does not include the abortion language he negotiated into the House bill that passed.

Therefore, he will certainly vote against passing the Senate bill, and take 10 to 15 pro life Dems with him. This means that, even if every other difference is ironed out, Nazi Pelosi will have to get 10 to 15 votes from the 39 blue dogs that voted “no” to the House bill.

This seems very difficult to achieve, given that these members have already voted “no” once, so they can’t count on any support from the Dem base in their re-elections, plus most of them are in swing districts where support for this bill is well under 50%.

In other words, Pelosi would need 10 to 15 blue dogs to commit political suicide, which I think will be very tough.

Keep in mind too that this would only be to pass the Senate version, there would also be the bloody reconciliation fight to follow, which could drag on all year if the Repubs have the balls to back up their tough talk.

If the Dems try this, they will be showing the voters in broad daylight getting closer and closer to an election that they are certifiably insane and determined to subvert the will of the American people at any cost.

I wouldn’t put it past them to try this, but I pray that there are enough sane Dems in Congress that want to keep their jobs to kill this health care disaster.

Actually, if the Senate version was passed by the House, it would go directly to the President to be signed.

But the House won't pass the Senate version and the Senate won't revisit the Bill.

And in usual democrap style, they use a lie as the basis for their media blitz, with the full complicity of the fifth column enemedia.

Yes, they should have used 'a bridge too far' instead.

“Actually, if the Senate version was passed by the House, it would go directly to the President to be signed.”

You are technically correct, but the House will not pass the Senate version without an assurance that the Senate will correct the things the House doesn’t like in the reconciliation process that would follow-which is why, like you said, the House will likely not pass the Senate version, because there are likely too many differences, some of which can’t be corrected in the reconciliation process (like abortion).
