Here is video of President Obama arriving in Tampa, Florida on January 28 which appears to show him bowing to the Mayor of Tampa, Pam Iorio. She was there to greet him at McDill Air Force Base. The bow appears to happen at the 1:07 mark of the video.
A picture taken that day captures the moment more clearly . . . . (VIDEO)

Yes he did.
The question remains.......WHY
Now, bowing to Saudis and foreign leaders, that's something else.
Maybe he as a combination of narcissism and low self-esteem and he likes bowing? Or, maybe he's just nuts.
In any case he doesn't belong in the office of President.
Someone needs to come up with a montage of Obama bowing to various people: the Emperor of Japan, whoever the Sheik was he bowed to, the mayor and then show him bowing to random people or things. That would be hilarious.
Creepy.
Very strange behavior
He jives down the steps of Air Force One and shakes hands until he gets to Pam Iorio, then he ducks and simpers like Eddie Haskell. Maybe she gives off “authority” vibes
Somethin’s wrong with this guy’s head.
He thought she was Kim Il Jong’s wife.
She does appear to be Asian.
Damage control — “See, the pres(id)ent bows to a lot of dignitaries, at home and abroad. Nothing to see here, move along.”
I’ll take “Or Maybe He’s Nuts” for a thousand, Alex.
Maybe he just forgot he was in America.
He thought she looked Asian. It's the same as if he brought a watermelon and a mess of fried chicken for Nagin in New Orleans. If a GOP Pres did this the press would be in full-tilt boogie screaming racism.
I’m starting to think this guy believes he is the Jolly Green Giant and he has to bow down to everyone to talk to them.
This so called man is an embarrassment to the US
2thoughts immediately...1) This was planned by his team & will used by the dems to prove that bowing is just some unconscious reaction on his part left over from childhood and this photo/video will be used to excuse all past & future bows.
2) I wonder what this woman’s family background is. Is she Indonesian? If so, who is she related to?
Probably #1. She is not Indonesian.
